The Zambian legume seed sector is dominated by selected bean varieties and groundnuts. The crops are largely grown by small scale farmers in the Eastern Province. In this documentary, multi-award winning Journalist Pennipher Sikainda-Nyirenda explores the legume seed sector as she highlights the work of Zambia Agriculture Research Institute (ZARI), USAID and COMACO in the provision of improved seed varieties. value addition is another major talking point in the programme which aired on ZNBC TV1 News in Depth programme on 8th February, 2018.
