For those readers of comments I want to explain that I went from Hyderabad to Leh and back in the year 2013 July by my Ninja 250cc bike, and in that month it was heavily raining all the way to Manali. I want to say that recent RU-vid videos show , well completed , tunnels , may be about 4 tunnels , towards Manali from Chandigarh. So that means there should not be any problems like those before when I went to Manali. And one more important note is that it is always better go Srinagar first and from there , go to Kargil , Zozula Pass and then to Leh. It is better because the altitude change would be very gradual, and your body would naturally acclimatize. In the year 2013 , Zozula Pass was heavily dusty and narrow and somewhat dangerous for 4 wheelers due to lack of space. But now as I see in RU-vid videos Govt. renovated these roads , hard topped them and I think they made two roads , upper and lower , so that you will not face oncoming traffic. During Nehru's time ( a bit of history here ) Pakistan tried to occupy Kashmir , and their military and tribals came up to Srinagar city . Once Kashmir king gave his accent to join India, our military pushed them up to Zozula , the war at the time was very dangerous high altitude war. Pakistan was pushed beyond Kargil hills. So that is the LOC now. While returning you can come back , from Manali side. Rohtang means pile of dead bodies. Now Rohtang has Atalji tunnel , and it is damn easy according to tourists.
Please suggest srinagar to leh because of altitude issues we are starting from south part of India. ex: one of co-traveler got altitude issue he is not competed his trip. from srinagar to leh than leh to Manali easy for all if you believe this suggest this route.
For altitude sickness , you must choose Srinagar to Kargil and from Kargil to Leh. That is correct. Now the situations have changed. In 2013 there was only one hotel in Kargil and that hotel was brand new and there was one south Indian Muslim who was the manger. Since I was the first guest to occupy that room of hotel he gave me 50% discount but I had to bear with paint smell throughout the night. Now there could be good hotels. Before 2013 only travelers bungalow in Kargil and that was all you had. Now even before Kargil you have Drass , where you have hotels to stay and also one petrol bunk where you must full up petrol. Yes , you must. If you think another route and that is from Manali to Thandi and then on to Barlacha La via Rohtang pass ( now you have an Atalji tunnel) your altitude will suddenly goes up and by the time you reach Barlacha La you would feel suffocated and profusely sweat.. You will acclimatize yourself if you spend two days in Leh , and that is the best thing to do. I made my stay in Leh like a camp. So I would go to Kardhung La on my bike , one day in the morning and I would return back to my hotel in Leh. Next day I would do exactly the same to Pangong Lake. And further next I went to Nubra Valley and stayed there for the night in home stays which was an excellent Panchavati Bhavanti and good break fast and also an apple garden. There was a desert in the middle of Himalayas in Nubra and even you have double humped camels there as well which I had a ride on for a fee. And I returned back to my hotel , after two days , where my room was not vacated , and the same room and same hotel stay.r There in Leh room rents were not high in July month. I met many Telugu people including one from Akshavani right at Kardhung La. After two more days I started my return journey. @@yuvamotoadventure

I do not know if 4 wheeler diesels ( SUV or Car) older than 10 years are allowed inside the city of Delhi. And if you start from Hyderabad by 5 a.m. it is easy to reach Saugar and right on the national highway you have very good 3 star type of hotels like Deepali, and Sukarna hotels. So will save 1 day here. Starting from Saugar ( M.P.) you can easily get on to Eastern Expressway near Agra on the same day by evening itself to go to Jammu. So you will save one more day. So many times I stopped at Saugar hotels with family , reached there in my car by evening 5 p.m. and started from Saugar to reach Agra by 4 p.m. evening. And the next day morning I would start and I reach Haridwar and at least half a dozen times I did this journey.

I'll share but People who are coming from the south side might be altitude sickness issue Srinagar route altitudes like 11000ft to 19000ft this route is good for all people
Depends on bike cc & Condition if you are going with 100 cc bike every 2000 Kms you need to change Engine Oil. If you have time you can do proper general service. if you have 200 cc you need to change oil every 5000kms.
