Day 7 and 8 of our epic journey from Mumbai to Ladakh on our Dominar 400s! On day 7, we explored the vibrant Leh market, did a lot of shopping for clothing, bags, and accessories, and even couriered everything back to Mumbai to avoid overloading our bikes. Day 8 took us on an unforgettable ride towards Hanle, through some of the most stunning and isolated terrain Ladakh has to offer. The road was mesmerizing, with orangish and yellowish landscapes, but we hardly saw any people, giving us a sense of being completely alone. Near Nyoma, we finally encountered some fellow bikers. Once we reached Hanle, we left our mark by adding stickers to a local cafe, but finding a place to stay was a challenge. After searching for over an hour in this small village, we finally found a homestay-but it came at a price of Rs. 9,000 for two nights.
