A kid in the audience had been holding up a sign that said, “let me drum with my heroes.” On one of the last songs Brandon called him up to the stage. Drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr took over on rhythm guitar.
Profectus - That is my son! Thanks so much for posting this and for whatever you did to connect with KSL to post it. We've loved coming across additional angles and footage from the night!!
I have nothing but respect for musicians willing to give unknown's a leg up. Neil Young is famous for it, and so were the Tragically Hip taking people on tour across North America to get their music heard. There are some real gems out there waiting to be told they are good, sometimes that's all it takes. But if you get to show 100K or so all at once, even better. Hats off to all musicians with that attitude.
Hi Profectus - Alec's dad here. Thanks again for posting this!! We're trying to collect whatever photos and videos we can from fans that night (just for personal keepsakes). Would you by chance be willing to upload the raw video file (non-compressed) and any other videos/photos from that song (if any) to a shared Google Drive if I arrange to get a link to you? Thank you!
@@mikenewbry - awesome. Here is the shared drive...once I get a thumbs up from you, I'll delete this particular post showing the link. Thank you so much!!! drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1C9arQ1y4aPbKuT0Q0frYro_W5dxllJOX
...again, if it's not too much trouble to upload the raw, uncompressed file(s), as opposed to copying over a compressed google photo version or something, we'd really appreciate it!!
