I really enjoy this kind of videos, very chill and relaxing to watch, especially during lockdown when you can't really go outside, so thank you, keep it up !
Just love your eye, Josh. Favourite late night watch, just to chill. Keep up the sterling work. Really appreciate the effort you’re putting in to these videos. The last time I got up at 5am, my hotel was on fire.
Found your channel today and couldn't stop watching your videos. Really like the focus on the act of taking photographs and the appreciation of work from other photographers. The gear talk always feels like a fun side note and feels like you guys have a flexible and spontaneous approach to cameras and lenses. Really cool! Excited to see the channel keep growing this is what I've been looking for on youtube for a while now.
This is great! love photowalk, so peaceful and inspiring! I live near Kingston so its very interesting seeing people photograph this area. Big fan of the channel :)
5:03 wow what an absolutely awesome scene with the deer. Will you become a Disney princess now, josh? 😂Honestly, it doesn't matter if it's an iPhone or a M10 as long as you have the photo you wanted to take
Anyone else here who remembers that video “Jesus Christ in Richmond Park” with that dog, Fenton? Anyways. That’ll always be my association with Richmond Park. Great video, loved the photos and the mood created by the fog.
I have been waiting for a night/day like this for ages over here in Germany to go out shoot - but not a chance. Absolutely stunning images, I have to say though that I liked the M10 shots more than the one on the iPhone. The video of the deer @4:55 was also insane, looks very surreal with those clouds.
Lovely, like all the images shown here, nice atmosphere too especially of the buck. I often use my iPhone to get GPS to remind me where I took similar or identical images from my camera. Also the mobile images are so good these days they are ideal for instagram etc too.
I loved this video . I just traded my m10 for an MA and honestly... not regretting it all! I may come back to the m10 in time but I found myself using my M6 more than the m10.
I think I preferred the Leica shots, but I got the impression that that was because you were taking all the best compositions on the Leica. The shots on the phone seemed in some way like after thoughts, and very rarely had much dynamism because any shots with moving subjects you were snapping with your Leica. I would love to see you going out with just the iPhone! Also, pleeeeeeeease edit the man out of the back of the deer photo in 4:11. That shot is really really beautiful and the man completely takes away! Great video :)
Cheers, thanks for watching ! I’m not much one for photoshopping images , kinda liked the people behind personally, otherwise there’s not much else going on in the shot ..! Definitely some iPhone only outings coming soon.
Is that near where you live, or did you have to go there by car? Would you have any advice for finding good locations to shoot? How do you not get bored? I feel like I have photographed everything there is to photograph in my neighborhood and don't know what else to shoot...
its a few miles from my house so I walked each way. I think good street view is a great way to plan walks around your local area/find potentially interesting spots!
Stunning scenes and images, thanks for sharing. Id like to know what camera/lens you used for the video? Its super clean and noticed the tighter frame.
Never thought I’d hear someone prefer an iPhone shot over an M10, other than maybe if it was underwater without any casing. That said, I still think I prefer the Leica ones. Think the dynamic range looked better at night and that’s just from watching on my phone screen. Might be interesting to see blown up a bit more. A great tool to always have with you tho!
