Not sure if this was asked already... Is there a difference in terms of durability when it comes to the titanium version and non titanium version? Or is it just an aesthetic thing?

I'm a pretty young photographer (17), at the end of this summer I will be upgrading my equipment because I'm starting to book shows at different venues. Do you think a m6 would be a smart choice? Or do you think I should go with ease of use and upgrade my dslr. Keep in mind I am willing to work with the shortcomings of film. Would appreciate your opinion

I'm sort of that "in between" guy... I don't love or hate leica. I suppose the price fucks it up, and for an all manual RANGEFINDER none the less, I'd rather just get a "fun" camera. Like my Canon leica ripoff. Or If I want to shoot serious film, I'll choose my Contax G1 with zeiss over the leica, even if price didn't matter. It's definitely a pretty camera though.

Hey Matt, great videos. I'm curious if you use your film advance lever (in its open position after cocking it) to rest your thumb on. I didn't know that you could do this until recently and I'm curious how many people actually know about it. Apparently it was designed to do this.

Hey Matt (and other viewers who may see this with advice of their own). I just purchased an M6 and currently have the Q, but will need to decide between one and have never shot film before (though plenty of experience on M9 previously so no stranger to RF). I live in Sweden where it's rather dark 4-5 months, resulting in a lot of indoor/outdoor low light, where the Q of course does fine. Do you feel you've lost the ability to shoot low light/indoor with the M6, even if able to push say a 400stock film by 1-2 stops on a F2 lens? Will be testing myself over the next week, but would love to hear thoughts and experiences from you or your passionate film photographer community. Cheers and keep up the great content! Hi, Thanks for the great video. Was considering an M240 but am convinced that an M6 is the way to go now. When shooting B&W, do you use a specific filter? And do you change it when shooting colour film? Just trying to get my head around film photography again. Thanks and all the best!

How easy is it to load film while standing or walking in the field with no table or flat surface at your disposal?

Don't forget to mention that many silver finish M6's will rust extensively in the top plate and other ares, even stored in dry environments. I got mine new, and now it looks terrible, and it's very expensive to fix. The people at leica seem to not care.

Oh boy! Just when I thought I can secretly hatch a plot to buy the legendary and enigmatic M6, others have already been there done that, and locked down their prize for their children to inherit and enjoy! Will just have to make do with the poor mans M6, the MA.

Is this 85 or 72? Im trying to decided between 85 and 72. im confused because urs seems to have a lever which will correspond with different lenses. So if yours is an 85 can u still use 35mm?
