Hope Shockat wins. July 4th should be a day of reckoning for Labour as well as the Tories. We've been ignored for too long. Time to make the privileged incrusted political class pay and elect new MPs who represent us and not vested interests.

The two party system was already an archaic fossil but the response of both Tories and Labour, to the situation in Gaza, really disillusioned and awakened many many thousands of voters all over the UK. Not only Muslims. I hope that the results will be visible when the people go out on the 4th July and vote in lots of new faces, independents mostly, plus a respectable number of Lib Dems and Greens . Some on the lunatic fringe will also vote in Reform candidates . I still wish them all the best and pray for the hasty demise of the Tories and a big dent into Labour's majority. 😊✌️💕
Jeremy Corbyn should get together with all independent candidates and form a party even if they win or lose or join Libdem or George Galloway Workers Party or the Green Party.

Sorry to hear that nonsense about pedestrianised highstreets. The most successful high streets are pedestrianised. The dead town centres are caused by supermarkets in out of town shopping locations and Internet shopping. Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Every town and city in this country, bar the city of London, has been devastated by Tory policy since 2010 . The town I live in used to be a good place to shop and go out for an evenings entertainment. Now it's a dump many good shops have closed the centre is full of boarded up shops or charity shops. I'm not knocking charity shops they are much needed but so many towns now look desolate, dirty and not a place you want to go . The Tories have rubbished this country well and truly I want to see the back of them but I'm not hopeful with what we are being told to "look forward to". The right wing Labour party seem to be happy to carry on where the Tories leave off. Heaven help us all 😢

The country needs bright, honest people who are not from mainstream Tory or Labour. INDEPENDANT and REFORM represent the community far better. Shockat talks a lot of sense.
Business dont go downhill because of pedestrianisation, it's because nobody has any money to spare, rents are high, a bunch of other reasons. People come and spend money if it's somewhere that's nice to go and they have money to spare. Definitely vote independent candidates over Labour though.
There will be mixed results for independents and third parties at this election,ranging from substantial votes to derisory votes apparently.I hope someone or a few get in Whatever the result the cause of challenging the parties consensus is a good one and after the election must stick with it and not become passive in face of disappointment if there is disappointment.
