Her brother goes to my camp and you can always see her around during the first few days and shes always there to help him. She unpacks for him and hangs out with him. It's all very well saying men get abused too, but leighton is there to talk about the charity for WOMEN. It is common knowledge that men also suffer from domestic violence, but the charity is targeted for females, so yes, leighton is going to talk about women. calm down. And as for tyra, shut your pie hole and let the queen speak
leighton is BEAUTIFUL!!....whereas in my opinion taylor momsen's black eye makeup creeps me out, i thought she looked waaaaaaaay prettier and natural in season 1 of GG.
i feel kinda sorry for leighton cuz almost every interview she has the interviewer concentrates on her problems and what shes not ready to talk about. but shes gorgeous :)
Super tacky and disrespectful of Tyra to shove her shoe in front of Leighton and make her take them off, I was very uncomfortable watching that, and I’m sure Leighton was as well
I like that she's raising awareness for this cause but I'm a little annoyed that she keeps on referring to women. Men are abused too and they need just as much help as they're less likely to report any incidents due to embarrassed at getting hurt by a woman or anyone else.
tyra is a woman who should really be respected. whether or not you like her personality, you have to agree that she is a good human being. truly influential and empowering.
omg i've always thougt that tyra's so amazing but now i see she's really rude and loves talking about yourself too much and i was shocked at the moment when she told leighton to take her shoes off don't like tyra anymore
At first I thought they were going to donate those super high heels to people in need, cause Leighton said "these shoes are going to people in need"! I found the thought of them handing expensive as shoes to women suffering from domestic violence amusing, like - what are they meant to do with those shoes, how would shoes help them? Beat the guy back, this time armed with a spikey heel? I know that's not what she meant (and I don't think domestic violence is funny, it's a serious problem far too many women are facing). But still, that initial thought made me think that's so rich people, giving designer heels to people in need, thinking that's what's gonna fix all their problems haha.
I love people who stand up for something they believe in.. far too many of us sit on our asses doing nothing. She's beautiful, knowledgeable and to look back at her childhood and see where she is now.. this girl is a true inspiration!

You guys it's hard not to interrupt Leighton because she is only there for couple minutes but Tyra and the fans have questions that need to be asked. So sometimes Tyra has no choice because of the time constraint.

hahaha many comedians make fun of Tyra Banks being self centered and I honestly like her but the more I see clips of her show I cant help to agree with comedians. She is always trying to jump in to make every interview revolve around her in a way. She is not extremely obvious otherwise her talk -show would not be as popular as it is now but take a few moments and listen carefully and you will see.
Did anyone listen? Leighton looks amazing indeed, though an important issue was raised. I can understand the reluctance in talking about domestic violence due to how personal it is but i disagree with Leighton and believe that it is essential to do so to increase awareness. Also, donating shoes for people in need? but i'm certain that they would prefer comfortable shoes rather than designer high heels.. anywayyy what do i know, i'm a male! ( Joke im sure they sell the designer shoes)
@redladyinred, this is a free contry, free world. what is more important here, the animals or abuse women. you are missing the point, overlooking the intent of her action. you have the right to feel strongly about animal just like she has the right to feel strong about abuse women.
@wowzaism no no its not just giving shoes away it raises money and all other kindsa stuff, and they are used shoes so its for people (woman) who have always wanted shoes like that and cant even afford to buy them, i think atleast haha.
This is why I don't watch Tyra Banks anymore. In EVERY SINGLE EPISODE, she gets into this rant about herself and her deeds, and cute off her guests whenever she feels like it. By the end of an episode, more has been said about Tyra than about her guest.
i love tyra and her show but whenever she's interviewing someone she lets them talk about their experience and then tyra always makes it about herself and america's next top model... and i know because i watch a lot of the tyra show.... just saying = /

tyra's pretty pushy.... well, after actually watching the show, i actually like blair and leighton. i used to dislike leighton (even up to about a month ago) cause i thought she was a biach to taylor momsen, whose story i understand so well :) i love taylor! :D
