The video shows, how to operate and setup the Hotwind System and how the different modes works, with and without an external controller, in open and closed loop. You will see how to connect the Hotwind System proper with the signal wire and the alarm contact. The function of the alarm contact will be explained.

Dear Ricardo Out 1 is Alarm 1, which lights up when the value is exceeded. In the video, a value that was too low was probably first stored and then changed. That is why it went out. Best regards Your Leister Team

I want to control the Air Flow AND the Temperature independently via an external controller. Is this possible? I'm using an Omron CJ2M PLC and a 0-10 V Analog Output card.

Yes, you can control the air flow and the temperature via an external controller (4-20mA or 0-10V). But you need one controller for the air flow and one controller for the temperature. And you need also for both 24VDC power supply. You can find more information on our homepage. www.leister.com Best regard Leister Team

it's possible to control it with a Raspberry or an Arduino

Thank you for your inquiry. The input signal for the Raspberry / Arduino has to be made for the Thermocouple you use. We normally use the K-Typ Thermocouple which is an analog signal. Then you have to program the Rapberry / Arduino for PID controlling. The Outputsignal for the Raspberry / Ardunio has to be a analog signal too, like 4-20 mA or 0-10 Volt. So it will not be a plug and play solution, but it would be possible. Best regards Leister Team
