I have a build idea for you for Connie if you haven’t done it, it’s kinda a meme build though, try tae-kwon-door, jump start, and extra drip with 10 into toughness, 5 in endurance, and the rest in either proficiency or strength, and try to get as much door slams as possible.
sneak attacks ARE longer than close encounter stuns. however that does not take into account the time taken for the grapple animation. so overall you waste more of the families time in a close encounter. however they are stunned longer with a sneak attack. so it comes down to whether your trying to waste time or make distance and get away.
This is a good build for sure but my biggest issue with What Doesn't Kill You is that it prevents you picking up Agitator. I always like to have that just in case I get blood rushed. I feel like Leland's responsilibty should be pressuring grandpa, valve and fusebox. Agitator just protects the team so much in that regard. Insurance basically. With that in mind I like Tougher Stuff, Agitator and Bomb Squad (Stunt Double or Saboteur if there's no Hitch). 46 Toughness 37 Endurance 30 Proficiency I also sometimes take out Tougher Stuff for Saboteur if it's one of the maps where the fusebox spawns too far away from exit (Slaughterhouse, Nancy's House, Mill). 44 Toughness 32 Proficiency Being able to turn off gen with saboteur on Nancy's House is also a lovely distraction which is what Leland is all about. On the topic of saboteur - Choose Fight, Bomb Squad & Saboteur is brilliant on Leland. It's one of those powerful builds that has no counter really. Highly recommended. Even one family member camping the fuse is not sufficient due to the stun duration. Once you've got fuse on, even if someone chooses to body block the exit they're gonna have to commit to that for 1 minute. Leland can also just barge anyone out of the way that isn't Leatherface. No one expect sabo either so you'll have another family member wasting their time going to fusebox to try and turn it off. Another good thing about this build is that you can ignore proficiency like you did in this video and just make Leland a tank. Saboteur is also great on Connie too because again you can just worry about her toughness and endurance and making her hard to kill. Sometimes fusebox is the only viable option against really coordinated teams that are blood rushing with Exterior Alarms, Cook and Hitch. Good luck with your future videos. ❤
If u would like to try one of my favorite builds for Leland you can, my first perk is been working out, choose fight, tae kwon door and 50 strength and 35 toughness and rest into endurance and use what ever ability tree you would like :D.
I really want them to improve the skill tree system. My ideas would be to be able to choose the random perk because it's super boring to reset the skill tree until I get the perks I want and especially that they let us save builds of different skill trees. I use a Leland build that is choose fight, wdky and no sell but I also use grappler, bounce back better and wdky and it's mega annoying to have to reset the entire skill tree to be able to change the build. It would be great to be able to save different types of build and switch between them whenever you want great video
As someone that creates content for this, using viewer builds mainly, the skill tree is my worst enemy. 😂 I think instead of getting a random perk, it should just let you choose which one you get. The random nodes already cost 1 extra point over normal perk nodes, so why not say that extra point is because you get to choose from a collection of perks

Also to note which you probably already know but if you choose his 8 second stun from his barge you can kick the gen off if you barge them right in front of it it’s pretty busted and I’ve seen family dc from it lol
I’ve been running choose fight, fight & flight and no cell if there isn’t a hitch hiker and if there is a hitch I’ll run bomb squad sabatuer and no cell or choose fight. Both builds are very strong and have had very good success with them. Also great video!!
50 toughness for the first build I mentioned and 40 toughness with rest into proficiency for second build. Try em out! They’re really good, fight and flight is the new endurance perk now that empowered is useless
Ok one more that I’ve been using as well lol. what doesn’t kill you, no sell and tae kwon door this one is really fun if a Johnny/sissy/hitch decide to rush basement it’s super useful for letting the others get stuff open
Well this build is really not bad at all, but I think Leland still need the Grappler perk, especially if you are family encounter players on PC. Anyway I´ll still give it a try.
Yeah, at level 3 you'll heal for 40% more with health bottles. Extra Drip is a bit better, but it's a really good substitute if your character/skill tree path doesn't let you get Extra Drip
I did feel like my Sonny games were going better, and I'm not really sure why! Sonny not having Empowered means he avoided that, and family running Scout means you can get caught off guard a lot as they rotate faster. But not on Sonny because he can see them coming from much further away. I think he would be perfect if he could get access to one more meta perk, like No Sell or Fast Hands
