Great video! Just got a Silvano Evo and am having a bit of trouble with milk steaming consistency. To me it appears to be due to the two hole steam tip that came with the machine spraying steam in two very different directions, causing difficulty in achieving a good milk vortex. Have you had any similar problems with milk steaming? Trying to figure out if a different steam tip might fix my problem.
True but don’t let the appearance of build quality fool you. We have a rocket that’s less than a year old that’s already broke and my lelit is going on 3 years now
@@JoeyVaracalli @Joe Varacalli You say it yourself. The build quality of the Silvano is better than the Lelit. Anyway for 1000 dolllars the Silvano is a decent machine. The vibration pump is rather quiet. Pid display located at a convenient place. How a difference with the Profitec Go.
@@evakeizers9670 no I agree the build quality is nicer but what I was saying is that doesn’t necessarily mean it will last longer. Both of these machines are great for the average espresso drinker the silvano is the better buy
Joe, can you please explain how you go about filling the water tank under the upper cabinets? I'm wondering if you need to move the machine to use a water pitcher? I'm thinking of purchasing the Bianca but my clearance under the upper cabinets is even less than your setup so I am concerned about having to regularly move the machine. Or does it look and work ok if I move the Bianca water tank to the side of the machine?
I do not but I do have a bit of a Awkward angle 📐 to pour in the tank but remember the water tank is movable so I can put it on the side. It might not look as pretty but it’s pretty good. Or even better plum it in ;)
Been thinking about upgrading from my Gaggia Classic pro. Something in $1,500 to $2,000. Most options would be the 58mm basket, but really thinking about the La Spaziale mini Vivaldi ii. Looks like a great machine, but uses 53mm portafilter. I know it’s not the topic of your video, just wondering what your thoughts are. Definitely wanting something with PID. Do a lot of milk based drinks and just think moving to HX or DB with PID is the way to go.
Yeah I personally think these three are the best option. @@JoeyVaracalli cool. I was thinking about the Arnos. Clive coffee actually has a very similar machine (Lucca X58 by QM), but with more tips and bottomless basket. Definitely seems like a solid built HX machine.
