Thanks, I hadn't looked closely at this when it came out a decade ago. I love my graveyard scene, and the skulls and corpses keep this from being "too cute". Strange way they power this item. At eHobby, they say the battery pack comes with it. But almost every Lemax I've seen with battery packs has the on-off switch on the pack, and it's hardwired into the display with the transformer plug in the battery pack. This one looks to have an on-off switch on a cord like other transformer-powered displays, and I guess the battery pack plugs into it at the transformer plug? Anyway, nice review.
Hey, great info there for sure. This was a fun review, and I really enjoyed displaying this piece. For the power, yes I agree there has been so many hardwired into the display. However I have seen a couple along the way that included a battery pack that you plug in rather then a adapter. My guess is, it was a cheap way to keep cost down on the item. It always threw me off too because it looks like it should included a adapter because of the plug input on the display. But nope, they were shipped with battery packs. Never seen that on any major display piece but table accents like this one and a couple low power drawing lighted buildings along the way have shipped with battery packs. Great note, thanks for sharing. :)
