Combined Powers - The next level of agriculture automation
Combined Powers is the name of a joined Krone / Lemken project and design concept - the autonomous ‘process unit’ that consists of a drive unit and various implements. The speciality of the process unit is that it is controlled by the implement and not vice versa. This detail was considered imperative for achieving optimum results.
After passing trials in cultivating, ploughing, sowing, mowing, tedding and raking last year, innovative concept will be integrated in the well-proven forage harvesting and tillage systems of the two companies.
In the video, you can learn about the visions and motivations that drive the cross-company development team to reach the next level of agricultural autonomation.

For the farmer, there is a multitude of other work to be done besides field work. While combined Powers works the field, these things could be done in parallel by the farmers. Best regards, Your LEMKEN Social Media Team

Yeah I give it about 10 years, and it'll still probably be useless, and break down. Just think of how much stuff breaks down, when you're in the field. So even if that machine could tell when something breaks down you basically have to be in your field non-stop because it's going to keep breaking down, all the time and messing up. It may very well work, but only in perfect field conditions, without obstacles or rocks.

It is our aim to develop a machine which can react on these issues before something break down. There it is important that the implement is controlling the front unit. But the current Combined powers is a concept study where a lot more work is to do. So we won´t give up and there will be some exciting news in the comming months and years. @@LEMKENAgrovision Can it at some point run with manure and all the things where you have to adjust like a potato planter or is it just the work that "doesn't" break like driving a disc harrow???

Da geht ja das ganze Feeling vom Bauer sein verloren... Ich glaube nicht das sich das in naher Zukunft durchsetzt. Dazu müsste die Maschine ja auch situativ eigen Entscheidungen treffen können.

Zukünftig soll sich Combined Powers dahin entwickeln, dass mithilfe von Sensorik Probleme eigenständig erkannt und gelöst werden können. Für den Anwender werden die Maschinendaten jederzeit abrufbar auf das Smartphone oder Tablet gespielt, von wo aus dieser eingreifen können soll. Beste Grüße, Dein LEMKEN Social Media Team

Hey, we have embarked on the development of Combined powers to address the skills shortage. At the same time, farms are getting bigger and the quality of food has to be maintained. Combined Powers is therefore intended to be a supplement to the existing machinery, enabling farmers to work even more efficiently. I don't think it can drive with a manure wagon and things that need to be adjusted all the time. But I think it is right when it comes to harrowing to "just" put it in the ground and then just drive
