onebigdaddy623- I do not own this music nor am I getting any monetary profit or gain from this music. I am just a fan. All rights belong to their respective owner.
Youre right. Hes like that bad uncle you just wanna hang out with. I met him in ‘86 after a concert and shared a beer and managed to chat fora short time. I also started playing the bass because of him. I’m still useless but every time I listen to Motorhead I cant wait to try again. I just got an effects pedal. The guy in the shop said what kind of sound do you want. I said Lemmy. He knew exactly what I meant.
@@danluster8683 Just a cheap BOSS Distortion DS-1 . I'm not going to spend big money while I'm just doing it for a hobby. The left handed Bass was a damaged item for $50 auction. My brother in law fitted it out with some spare Gibson parts he had so it's starting to come together
Usually Johnny Cash does other people's songs better than they did them originally... but this is the first time anybody may have done a Johnny Cash song better than Johnny. Or, close, anyway... both Lemmy's and Johnny's versions are amazing.
+Nunya Bidness That's true...it has been said that once Cash covered a song than it became a Cash's song. Well this time, we have to say that Lemmy did a great job, as always. RIP Lemmy.
RIP my brother, you are the biggest singer forever. Your music has been my favorite since 1981 when I heard you for the first time. I lived my life with your music. I made tatooes of you when I was teenager. And I share your vision of the world. You sang that you didn't wanna live forever but you are not dead anyway. Because we all are THE ONE. Like the waves on the ocean. You are the ocean and we too. And we all are MOTORHEAD.
nekrotorg I remember in one of his last concerts, I swear to god it was the one with the dark like triangle like venue, I forgot the name, but it was pretty much as he was dying he sang I wanna live forever. Maybe a change of heart, or his failing brain. Either way he’s he man. Love him forever.
For a guy who usually sounded like he gargeled with Jack Daniels and bits of the broken bottle, he actually has a very very sweet melodic voice. An unbelievably versatile talent. Rip.
How the hell did i not know this existed. @#$#% YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this song isnt a LEM solo...its done by a "side project" he has with a few other recognizable names called THE HEADCAT with many great covers of rotton roll classics reworked a wee bit great stuff...check em out
MetalPersonJ I don't think there's a fair comparison period. Each version is amazing. We were fortunate to have a great song sung by two completely different artists. In my mind it's the same beauty in the fact that Axl is singing the ACDC songs. I feel privileged to hear Lemmy, Johnny, Axl and ACDC share their talents between songs and music. Music can be shared with the appreciation of each individuals own taste.
