fun fact: In "DInosaurchestra Part One" Neil talks about traveling back to 200 million BC, roughly around the start of the Jurassic period. Later, in "Dinosaurchestra Part Three" a meteor, presumably the one involved in the K-Pg mass extinction, factors heavily into the plot. The extinction happened around 65 million years BC. If my calculations are correct, the band known as Dinosaurchestra lasted for ~135 million years, making it the longest lasting musical act in Earth's history.
Someone on Reddit claimed to be a helper with the remasters, and helped make the scrolling backgrounds. They made a post asking for ideas for the background for this remaster, and I suggested the argyle pattern. Now, this may just be coincidence, but I am going to boast about technically helping on an official Lemon Demon thing until the end of time.
i always imagine that this album is neil dreaming about playing music with dinos and the alarm clock at the end of dinosaurchestra part 3 is his actual alarm clock and the too much song is him waking up, realizing its over and dealing with real life
This is a really good theory but the more I think about it I'm pretty sure it's about childhood and having fun, and the how all that suddenly ends at some point in your life
I've listened to every Lemon Demon album 5000+ times and Dinosaurchestra is still very easily my favourite. Extremely good remaster and very happy to see it get the attention it deserves!!! 🦕❤
@@meli_lemon_real I will not stand for LFTHCS slander. CC is my least favourite but exclusively because Neil was the most inexperienced as a songwriter at the time, but even then Wrong, Somnolence, and Elsewhere are all 10/10
@@nerddookie if i didnt have the ability to stop myself from singing lawnmower my friends would be haunted by me doing that too why is lawnmower so good
This album is to Neil what the Lincoln album is to They Might Be Giants. It's an indisputable masterpiece of off-kilter indie, bursting at the seams with cleverness, pathos, and variety. Massive props to Angel for the remaster; I feel like I'm hearing this prehistoric treasure of an album for the very first time again!
"how did he do it. Such beautiful music. Why can't i be like him?" I say something like that whenever i listen to lemon demon's dinosourchestra view monster or previous albums. How did he do it? I don't get it.
an armadillo.... IN KISS MAKE UP, i mean thats less weird than bill watterson stalker, the tragic death of waldo (wally),the wiggles hating each other,a lot of shit about the ocult in spirit phone, and whatever the fuck is happening in nature tapes
Was listening to this on some big fancy music producer headphones. Dinosaurchestra Part 3 brought me to tears. I don't know what Neil put into that song, but it feels so nostalgically warm and sad, more so than a lot of Pixar movies do. Love this album.
needlejuice has plans to remaster damn skippy and javabean but for the first two albums they havent really decided what to do since they can't be found in lossless quality
I’d love for Damn Skippy and Hip to the Javabean to be released in Spotify. My playlists really need “Sky is not Blue” and the original version of “I’ve Got Some Falling to Do.”
i feel like, from a purely objective standpoint, this is 100% the best lemon demon album. i don't give a shit if you think spirit phone is better because Neil's vocals are better, this album is pure, undistilled art. It's not even my personal favorite, not by a long shot, but just looking at the whole discography from the most objective and critical standpoint i can muster, i will NEVER understand how people think spirit phone or view monster or any other album is better I don't like this album the most, it's not my favorite, but it's still the best one regardless, you know what i mean? i know this all comes down to opinion but there is no way you can tell me the newer albums have anywhere near as much to say, or anywhere near as much meaning in them
You have a good point. But I think the hardest question for all lemon demon fans is what’s the worst album? I keep thinking about it. It’s the hard decision because all them are decent.
@@lolmasterwastaken2 going by the criteria that i was using to make this decision that's quite clearly clown circus, i love it to death but i mean. Like yeah there's no contest
@@hardlyanydiggity3953 *extremely loud incorrect buzzer* You're wrong, you're wrong, I could see it all along Yet you hold on to the things you say But things you say will go astray, and Wrong, so wrong, I've been saying all along, baby You're wrong ‘cause I think you're wrong ‘Cause I know you're wrong, you're wrong
view monsters great but when im listening to it i have to choose between _'view monster with all the transition tracks seperate'_ (annoying if i want to shuffle it) or _'view monster with all the transition tracks stuck on the end of the corresponding actual track'_ (annoying if i want to loop it) or i guess also _'view monster without any transition tracks'_ (annoying if i want to listen to it in order)
the way this comment is phrased is absolutely hilarious to me anyway put Dinosaurchestra back on Apple Music 2K22 because I'm tired of sitting through 5 minutes of Spotify ads so I can listen to Ultimate Showdown
The first time I listened to dinosaurchestra I ignored it because it just didn't seem like the type of music I'd listen to, but when this autoplayed after the Spirit Phone Remaster I checked to see what this bop's title was and I was pleasantly surprised
being in the chat at this premier made me have a dream about gay. i have no idea what was gay about it or what the dream even was cause i cant remmeber a single thing but this morning i had a weird feeling i had gay
this remaster had made me fall in love with this album. big shout-out to Angel Hair Audio for working on this. I'm really excited to hear the remasters they did for View-Monster and Spirit Phone as well after this! amazing work.
Aghhh listening to this and actually having good speakers now is like listening to this album for the first time again!! this sounds great and im so hyped to order the cd soon
SOOOO SUPER EXCITED TO GET THE VINYL!!! Dinosaurchestra is incredibly special to me :D I’ve been listening to lemon demon for four years now and this was the album that introduced me to his music! The remastering here was incredibly well done!!
First video of the New Year, first Album, and first Livestream!! Wishing everyone here an amazing new year where you can rock out, have fun, and eat childre- uh… ignore that last part!! 🦕☄️🎱
@@floridaflamingogirl3119 I saw that you posted it on your channel and watched it already, it looks SUPER PROFESSIONAL!! And the graphics tie it all together >w
@@floridaflamingogirl3119 YUP!! Exactly how I felt!!! A couple days ago I was looking at the View Monster album stream and wished I could be a part of the chat, but a couple days after that, I WAS!!! And it was a BLAST!!!
i'd like to imagine the transition inbetween ultimate showdown and vow of silence is the person singing vow of silence inturrupting the ultimate showdown, inhaling and exhaling, then proceeding to go on about how he wants to stay silent for the rest of his life or smth
@@squishking thankfully theyre gonna remaster everything up to hit to the javabean because neil doesn't have the files which is sad bcuz come on remastered switzerland would be amazing
as if you need to be mentally off in some way to want to rock out in a dinosaurchestra. can you honestly tell me most people wouldn't do so if they had the opportunity?
i found this album to be kinda difficult to get into after falling in love with Spirit Phone, View-Monster and other newer Lemon Demon stuff, but it’s really grown on me i really really like it
This album is unironically a masterpiece. Like the memes aside, its absurdly good and is up there with Pinkerton or even new age shit like Carseat. Ahead of it's time.
then in view monster one of the lyrics is "my hands would stay here on my chin,, with a hum that never ends" ,,may just b unintentional but it's still interestinf
Honeslty I don’t think I can pick one song or Album I love more. Their all so good and well put together. I’d never expect myself to have a song about two trucks… doing…yknow… stuck in my head, am grateful for the absolute jams thought
@@bw000m unless one is being mauled to death by a dinosaur. Jurassic Park doesn't seem like much of a fun time. But if the dinos in question are pacifistic dinosaurs with an interest in music production? Heck yeah
Even though I have only listened to this album for less than a year, it is one of my favorite albums that I've ever listened to. Thank you Neil for making it and NeedleJuice Records for remastering it.
