Hey, Lori! Thursday, Friday & Saturday have been crazy for us, but I'm catching your replay tonight, winding down with my little "tramatized" miniature schnauzer, Scout in my lap. I can't remember ever making a pancake wreath, but this is looking so cute!!! 🤩I'm going through crafting withdrawal at present. We're hoping to put our beautiful but outgrown Lowcountry townhome on the market next week. I also had a thyroid biopsy on Thursday, and won't have the results for 10-14 days. We got home tonight (Port Royal, SC) after house hunting in Anderson, SC. We put in an offer on a house that would be perfect for us, but now we're in a bidding war, so we won't know until tomorrow if we're in the running or not. Please say prayers for us tonight that we find our new forever home soon, closer to our daughters and their families in GA and VA, giving me a dedicated craft room, Don a "man cave", and our two sweet furbabies a fenced in back yard where they can run and play, with a mtg. that won't break the bank.
Hi Katherine! Of course I’ll be praying for you that you will find the perfect forever home for you and your hubby. I know it’s hard to not be able to craft and you really do have withdrawals but hopefully it won’t be too much longer and in the meantime you can get some inspiration watching videos. I’ll be praying that your biopsy results come back negative as well. Please keep me updated and I appreciate your watching. Thank you, Lori.
Hi Kim! That is very sweet of you to say and I really hope you give it a try. I would love to see pictures if you make one and thank you for watching, Lori.
When making the pancake wreath do you use a wood burner? I have because I dislike the fraying with most, if not all, mesh. Your video doesn't show you cutting the mesh though I see your piece that holds the ribbon in place when cutting your mesh.
Hi Pat! I don’t use a Wood Burner and just use a rotary cutter. I love Poly Jute Mesh the most because it hardly frays and if you get good quality Mesh then you won’t have too much fraying. Please wear a mask when cutting your Mesh because the fumes aren’t good for you and that’s one reason why I don’t use one. Thank you for watching, Lori.
Hi Kim! You would have to use a small frame in order for the 6” mesh to work or have your ties closer together cause it’s just not wide enough for coverage. You would cut it the same length. I highly recommend using 10” mesh for the Pancake method. Dollar Tree mesh is 5 yards per roll for $1.25 and you can get good quality mesh that’s 10 yards per roll for $3.50. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.
Hi Sondra! That’s not a dumb question and unfortunately that’s the only method for the Pancake method. Where are you getting your mesh? There is a trick with Ruffles to help with the fraying which is to fold the edge about one inch on each end. Here is a video demonstrating that. ru-vid.comdwZQBp5XFXE?feature=share. I hope this will help. Thank you, Lori.
Hi Gloria! Here is the link for the black and ivory ribbon which is what I used in the wreath. It just looks white on the screen. hardworkingmomstore.com/products/1-5x10yd-striped-check-on-royal. Thank you, Lori.
Hi Rhonda! This wasn’t a kit and all the supplies were sold separately. The only item that’s still available is the sign and here is the link. hardworkingmomstore.com/products/lemon-truck. Thank you, Lori.
Hi Debra! I purchase my ribbon wholesale and sell it on my website. Here is the black and ivory check ribbon. hardworkingmomstore.com/products/1-5x10yd-striped-check-on-royal. Here is the lemon truck ribbon. hardworkingmomstore.com/products/2-5-x-10-check-on-black-and-white-gingham-truck-with-lemons. Thank you for watching, Lori.
