My grandma went blind a long time ago, and though we entertained her with audiobooks and podcasts, nothing has brought her as much joy and laughter as this little radio sitcom. Thanks John!
(Also, many people, especially from outside the UK, would have never even heard of Cabin Pressure if it weren't for Benedict being in it. I came across it through being Benedict's fan, & now I love the show, & not only because he's in it, but because it's a brilliant show & ALL of the actors are great.)
@@KatPro23 Oih! 😅 Just brilliant! 🤪
Amen, sister. I came to Cabin Pressure because of Benedict, but I stayed for all the other actors, and especially John Finnemore. He's brilliant. Not only did he create a lovely world with complicated and deep people in it, but he's standing right next to all the other actors performing an adorable, inimitable character that is all him. John's irreplaceable, and he's GOD in the world of MJN Air. :)
@@WolfstarLover77 OH yes! And I was so happy to see that John Finnemore is writing for Good Omens, too. Azeriphale is so like Arthur in his speech. I wrote a Sherlock/ Cabin Pressure crossover story titled "From St. Barts to... St. Barts?" if you are interested. It was a hoot to write the characters, especially Arthur and Martin. Cheers fellow fan!
I too listen to this series regularly, it always makes me feel so happy. John Finnemore is my hero. The cast are just perfect. I have it on Audible and listen while walking the dog. Can I just boast that I bought a yellow car because of this series.Brilliant.( Unfortunately, I say brilliant ALL the time and always have. Didn't really notice until hearing this series, thanks Arthur ).
Yes! It's so adorable...i love his reactions throughout the whole thing...it's just too cute....I also loved Roger's expression and clapping at the qikiqtarjuaq moment too...and Benedict's smile...
It was so sweet to see John SO stoked about this project. It must be so surreal to have so many people around the world so devoted to his work! He deserves it, as do all the others, cause wow, they're so good at capturing all of our attention with just their voices and some sound effects!
I love this radio show, I’ve listened to all the episodes about 10 times during long hours of driving. Just wish John could write and the cast could profile another hundred episodes!! 😘
The wonderful smile Roger has for The PuduPudu when she comes on stage--he was so proud of you! Congrats on putting this all together--what a wonderful tribute to John & to the show!
I've seen this many times over the preceding decade, and it remains a constant delight. This, and a tiny tiny TINY bit of Nancy Dean Leibhart is all that we have. I hope that David or John have a proper recording they'll share one day.
This is so cool - and Cabin Pressure is a port in storms for me. Thank you so much for having this here for us to see, wherever we are in the world! (hi from Kansas!)
hey Kansas, many a storm over your way. We'd like to think frank l baum's work more of a 'port' in your tornado .....but yeah, Finnemore is just a littlemore though much less of a disaster haha
This is absolutely brilliant, and I'm so happy someone took a video of the moment! (I'm also happy that my little lemon lost in the Tuscan country is there in the book!)

This was amazing! I am very happy that he liked it. He seemed really surprised!
I hope some letters from the US made it into that book. I know I (as an American myself) have been able to convert at least a few people to the awesomeness that is Cabin Pressure! :)
This is so sweet! A lovely gesture from the many fans of Cabin Pressure; And that girl is so brave for going up there! I'm sure I would have passed out from nerves. *bit of side trivia for you* I was telling someone the other day that Cabin Pressure reminded me of Fawlty Towers; I just realized Prunella Scales played Martin's mum in C.P.(She was Basil's wife in F.T.'s.)
Brilliant video! I was so gutted to miss out on tickets to get to a recording and it looks like this was brilliant but can't wait for the radio series to start in January Brilliant!
This is brilliant!! I read something about the project quite a while ago but then I ended up forgetting to participate.. so I feel a bit bummed out. But that doesn't matter. I love the CP fandom and the cast/crew of CP itself. They are so very nice!! (At least I was so fortunate to meet JF half a year ago, when I went to London. He's really nice)
Yes, Cabin Pressure is about more than just Benedict, as I assume 99% of fans agree - it's an amazing, hilarious show. However, he's extremely talented & the comment that Martin "could be played by just about anyone with a voice" is frankly offensive, untrue, & an insult to such a talented actor. But he is also extremely good looking, so if someone chooses to watch only him during this video, then what's the problem? It doesn't mean he's the only thing they like about the show. (to be cont'd...)
I am very sorry, but as sweet as this project may have been - I had only eyes for Mr. C...... pardon me, I am smitten by this gorgeous, adorable MAN.....
Er, Can I just say that nobody is telling you to see the live recordings, also the title is "Lemons and Landmarks cabin pressure recordings dec 16" Not "The Benedick show" And if you find the brilliantly well written character so irritating why are listing to the show? And project has something to do Mr Cumberbatch because he is a voice one of the character. Also kind of quoteing you, post your hate some were else.

(cont'd) I don't find his character irritating, in fact I don't think most people do, so I guess that's down to your own taste. Are you sure you don't just find him irritating because he's played by Benedict, who you clearly have something against? "This project has nothing to do with him"? It has as much to do with him as with any of the other actors. Post YOUR bitterness elsewhere.
