i lived very close to the falstaff beer brewery in north st.louis in the early 1950s

The Griesediecks are STILL a brewing family in St. Louis.

I have a Lemp Beer crate that is a paint over. Can't find anything on it though. Its wood, leather hinges and the sides are grooved. Maroon paint with yellow wrinting/fonts. Do any of you Lemp folks know about me little crate. Would hold 24 bottles. :)

The old Lemp Brewery Falstaff logos were sandblasted off by people that bought the brewery.

There's more to St Louis than AB (Bud).

Haven't seem Lemp in to buy for years now. I guess they went under, again.

That was 100 yrs ago...I bet the beer doesnt taste the same.
