Green Lover is excellent. I don't know how I've only just spotted that you reviewed this. I have a 50ml and a 100ml, my female housemate loves it, it's one of her favourites in my collection and I have about 60-70 fragrances. To me it smells like Tic Tacs with a hint of mandarin

I love this stuff. I seem to pick up less orange and more pepper than Ash here. It's a minty peppery vanilla for me with only hints of citrus. It's unique and still mass appealing which is exactly how I like my fragrances. It's also totally cruelty-free, from ingredients to finished product, which is awesome!

Hi ash How does lempicka home compare to the original lempicka au masculin? The reason they are in different bottles was due to manufacturer license change

they are diferent perfumes , the original has a diferent opening and the dry down has that "praline' feel while the new has a woodsy feel , very close but not the same

Blind bought this (I know, I know..) and I have to say, I really don't like it. Smells like Tic Tacs and window cleaner to me. I'm not getting a lot of vanilla, mostly bitter and sour to my nose. My girlfriend loves it though, so at least she can enjoy it. 😂

If you dont like Mercedes-Benz club black something is wrong with you, its not on Ash. That fragrance is on every reviewer from small to large best winter scents, universally loved by all who own it and in the comments sections. Yes, fragrance is subjective, so you are not wrong with you feelings. Joop ice, i mean, you should've known. Its freaking joop!!!

became my signature scent! i spray this thing on myself before i go to bed like no tomorrow lol. trying to trap the smell on my favorite hoodie and giving it to my gf. when it’s a stressful day at work i like to get a quick sniff of the back of my hand because of how relaxing this scent is. definitely recommend trying

@@prioritisingprofit lol yes I am a woman. I would say it’s unisex. If you don’t like vanilla (and mint) I’d stay away. It’s not overly masculine at all.

This has quickly become one of my favourite fragrances. My wife loves this one. She says it reminds her of how a high end Spa smells. To me it’s a fresh vanilla and orange combo. Very unique. You can over spray and not offend. It’s very unique. Just bought a back up bottle. Will probably give the Homme version a try. I have nothing that smells like Green lover in my collection. Impressive.

Rather then a "green fragrance", this might just be a kind of manifesto of "going Green", regarding the fact that Lempicka went vegan starting 2018... So is not so much about the love of green notes as much as the love of Environment = Green... could this be the mystery of this deceiving name...?

I picked this up for summer based on your recommendation and I love it. The dry down I describe as a honey bbq, at least on my skin. I have yet to wear it outside but this is definitely something I'm going to do. Either way, I'm thoroughly satisfied. Great stuff. Great work, Ash.

i finally got this one in the mail today. yep, it smells like thick, creamy orange with vanilla but with emphasis on the vanilla. the orange stays more in the background. definitely more of a warm weather, casual day time scent.

I bought this today for myself, when I tested it, I couldn't quite figure it out...it was like a sweet, spicy scent. I wasn't sure if I wanted it but the longer the scent lingered in the air, the more I loved it. I definitely think it's a unisex perfume. Thank you for the review!

It was more of a general statement then a specific one. I was disappointed when I watched further, but in general I appreciate him reviewing “green” fragrances. The houses can always mask their scent by marketing or change the notes for whatever they want of course. You even saw the slight confusion or disappointment when the notes didn’t match the color and the name of the scent.

Ani smells nothing like a green fragrance to me. I know "green notes" are listed in the fragrance breakdown but i cant stand green fragrances and glad i dont smell them, or else id of never of bought it. Just my opinion. Nothing wrong with yours and i haven't smelled this green lover fragrance

Hey Tim like Ash said in his review Green lover is also not an Green fragrance, it is more on the vanilla side. And they are not the same that's for dure.

@@osmanyozgat5539 Hes saying orange and vanilla and as i read through the comments ive found basically no one who has been agreeing with that and most saying it smells medicinal. I did see another guy comment about Ani and i told him without smelling it, it doesn't lol. I trust you though, as i haven't smelled it and we all smell this differently

Actually picked this up a couple of months back and complete agree with your take...the box doesn't tell the story but it is a really nice warm weather scent and I'm looking forward to the spring/summer to give it some serious wear....great review!

This was really not what I was expecting. Completely misleading name. It was very much hyped in the frag community here in India, people comparing it to mix of Ani and Edition Blanche with a gourmand touch. Didn't live up to the expectations for me sadly.

Been hesitant to try this one. I like Lempicka Au Masculin (old packaging), which was discontinued and re-released 2 years later in a vegan formulation called Lempicka pour homme (new packaging). I haven't tried the new formulation, but I've heard from others that the performance took a huge nosedive. So, I've stayed away from Lempicka's new releases.

Am I the only one that hates this? Had higher expectations, but my bad for pulling the trigger on all the hype. Initial blast is nauseating. There’s a note or two in here that I find disagreeable. Could it be the green vanilla combination that is off putting? Not sure if I can even use this as a bathroom spray.

Ash so the thing is you ever smell a fragrance in the air as someone is walking by and it becomes burned into your memory as your kryptonite, mine is a scent that smells like a sweet orange marmalade. does limpkia smell like that cause if so you may be telepathic.

It's cute for what it is. Orange minty vanilla, creamsicle, tic tac. It's giving cozy golden retriever boyfriend with kind eyes who's into collecting plants.
