Hi, Joe. Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we don’t know of any shoe companies currently manufacturing a steel-toe work boot that meets our “foot-healthy” specifications. When shopping for your next pair, we’d recommend trying wide sizes in boots that are as flat as possible. Lems Boulder Boots are great for yard work and a variety of other activities, however. If you can’t find any good options for your work, we still recommend being in foot-healthy footwear as much as possible outside of your normal working hours.
Picked up a pair of these in Texas on my way out west. I am a 14W and the biggest size available comes to about 13.5 but they worked. A little tight to begin with they stretched and became the most comfortable boots or shoes I've ever worn while driving and once I got used to ambulating with minimalist soles they are now my all around hiking, walking and work out boots. Much more durable than you'd think with the lightweight construction. Just wish they had a size 49 to avoid the stress on materials in stretching. All in all a great boot. P.S. Careful around a camp fire, got a hot coal on the top of the shoe and it burned quick. Still functional just looks ugly.
I have a black pair of your boots and love them. Could you please design a lace up pair with a side zipper? Taking them off at home and at airports would be a lot easier. Thanks

this shoe is nice im buying it but i wish it was below the ankle. isnt above the ankle shoes bad for the feet? im asking since it seems you know a lot about feet health. i really dont know but i heard that above the ankle shoes are bad for foot health.
Hi, Andony! You’re 100 percent correct that most above-the-ankle shoes aren’t the best for your feet. They’re often rigid, which restricts mobility in the ankle. Boulder Boots, however, have a flexible upper that allows your ankle to move naturally as necessary. Returning your foot to it’s natural anatomical position AND allowing it to move naturally is essential. Boulder Boots allow both!

It has all the features we typically look for in truly foot-healthy footwear, including a wide toe box and a completely flat and flexible sole. Just a thought!
Hi, Aaron. Thank you for your excellent question. It's a question that we receive often. Unfortunately, to our knowledge, there does not yet exist a foot-healthy safety shoe or boot. You might consider using steel toe caps over a pair of flat, wide toe box boots, but these caps can be a bit clunky. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful on this front!
