Buy the boots here: www.lemsshoes....
The all leather Boulder Boot from Lems is an awesome all around ultralight boot. The zero drop construction gives you a great feeling of the surface under your feet, and the tread is flexible but durable. The full grain leather is high quality. The laces are also really nice and durable. These boots look good anywhere, are comfy, and will hold up for a long time.

These boots look great! I'm in the process of transitioning into exclusively zero-drop and hope to go as minimalist as possible eventually. These look like they'll fit my "hiking" slot!

@@ReviewOutdoorGear Thanks for answer!)) Tell me please, do you wear this exact shoe size or a size smaller?

I like mine but I haven't had them long. I like the wide toe ..they are a good Barefoot boot with more protection than many Barefoot boots.

I have to say I am quite surprised to see you giving a positive wintertime review (in the snow no less) to boots which are not remotely waterproof and have (of all things) a cotton flannel lining. I would never venture into the snowy woods in such a thing, as cold, wet feet are almost certainly guaranteed. I really enjoy most of the ROG reviews I see, but this review of a boot that clearly is NOT serious a wintertime hiking boot, leaves me scratching my head. Steve

Ah yes, I should have stated that you can take them hiking when it’s a bit colder but still dry. Like I said when it’s wet the water or snow can get in through the seams. These are definitely not boots I would take hiking into the woods in the winter; I use them for short casual walks around town, and that’s after I have waterproofed the leather and seams. Thanks for your feedback Steve.

Hey, when you get paid you get paid. Looking at those boots they look pretty trash for harsh weather to me too.

@@ReviewOutdoorGear have you tested out their waterproofness after treating them ?

Did yours smell horrible when you opened them? What did you think about that?

Hey, I wear a 46. :D That's amusing, almost the same size. Is it a darker brown than what's pictured on the site or is this treated with leather oil?

These are treated with some oil.

How is the traction when wet? I've read many comments/reviews that these lack traction on snow/ice or on hard surfaces when wet (e.g., inside buildings with smooth floors).
@Newton240sx

The traction is brutally awful but I still own 3 pairs of boulder boots so it hasn't deterred me.

I work at an ice rink. The boot is decent on ice, though some slips will happen.

I love those boots. But the tread sole is slippery and is not beefy enough for outdoor wear and it is not water proof. More of a fashinoble hipster casual boot

Do these stretch over time after some wear? My toes touch the front of mine ever so slightly, but it is not uncomfortable. Just curious as to if that will eventually subside due to stretching.

Yes they definitely will.

How do these do over time as far as breaking in? Does the leather or leather/canvas stretch over time and loosen up conforming to each individual's foot or have they stayed pretty much the same?
@ReviewOutdoorGear

They have broken in very nicely.

Do not buy. After 4 months the soles are worn out. No service from Lems.

Did the soles come off the boot? As in the glue gave way?
