James House my residence while at the Duke of York. I used to stay at the ground floor next to Mr Wines house. Everyone who stayed in that study room just got admitted to the bar last year. Oh the memories we made in this place. Am visiting soon!
The "cell" was actually an armory for the school's shooting club and later the cadet corps club. The government took the school's rifles away in the late 80's or thereabouts. The 1982 coup attempt influenced the decision.
Unakula smokies haraam.but i see for a govt school its quite beautiful.i like that u also have a mosque.very rare to see in a govt school.my nephew came there with very high marks kisha akaanza kuanguka sana alipokuja huko,i dnt know maybe bad company in boarding schools.
It is a school for the rich spoilt kids whose parents pay their way there! If you want your child to seriously learn and be someone, please take them to County & Extra County schools or the newly promoted nationals such as Kapsabet, Nyambaria School, Kabianga, Agoro Sare, Cheborgei, Nyansiongo, Riokindo etc at least your child will learn to fetch knowledge & discipline rather than get spoon fed on how to just pass exams
