Lenin’s preserved body clad in a white shirt and black suit is in a glass display, in a special chamber with separate entrance and exit doors. It is located in the border of Red Square which is made with granite. In open hours, tourists can enter the building and after observing the tomb, leave through another gate. Lenin’s body has been there since his death in 1924; it only had been transferred to Siberia for a short period of time as Moscow was under intense bombardment in World War II. During the years 1953-1961, the preserved body of Joseph Stalin was placed beside Lenin’s body but then it was taken out and buried outside of the tomb. There is a platform above the tomb which in official ceremonies makes place for Soviet officials to stand there and watch the parades. On visiting days, all ways linked to the Red Square close off and tourists can only enter from one entrance in a queue. The queue moves slowly and after observing Lenin in complete silence it exits from another gate.
The exit way was designed to place the grave of other famous individuals along the kremlin wall; like Brezhnev, Stalin Dzerzhinsky, John Reed (American author who wrote ’10 Days that Shook the World’), Yuri Gagarin, Marshal Zhukov and Igor Kurchatov.
Time Stamp:
02:11 William.D.Haywood's grave in the Kremlin wall ( The leader of the Industrial Workers of the World)
02:11 Jenő Landler (Hungarian Communist leader of Jewish roots)
03:02 The graves of famous people in Soviet time
04:10 Main entrance of the Lenin's mausoleum
05:16 Resting place of all Soviet leaders (Joseph Stalin, Georgy Malenkov, Leonid Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov, Konstantin Chernenko) except Nikita Khrushchev
07:06 Yuri Gagarin's grave (The first man in space)

Thanks for watching the video. Unfortunately filming and photography inside the tomb is forbidden. No one has ever posted a video from inside the tomb on personal channels and sites ... you just have to come to Moscow and see it:). I hope one day you travel to Moscow with our travel company and enjoy the beauties of this city.

The Russians should give V. Lenin's corps a "solution" similar to what the Bolsheviks gave to General Kornilov's corps! History connoisseurs will understand...

@@barbarapitenthusiast7103 We never know:) Two farmers went to the Kremlin and one asked the General Secretary: was the Communism invented by a Marxist or by a Scientist? The GS replyed: by a Marxist, of course. The the farmer told the other: I warned you! If it was a Scientist, he would try first the Communism on Guinea Pigs:)

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a comment. This tomb is part of the history of the world. One hundred years ago, millions of people believed in him. Visiting the tomb is completely free and it is the choice of the tourist who wants to see a part of the history of the world or not.

Be that as it may, but , there was really no explanation regarding the many wall plaques, and a couple of seconds showing Lenin. I do see your point, but so much time walking to the mausoleum, this time could have been utilised to make the video more interesting. You could have had had subtitles in , say, English, giving a more in depth history. This is not criticism, mearly a suggestion. I hope you can do something like this, as foreigners don't know as much in depth Russian history, as the Russian people who lived through these times.. Good luck with this.
