I know someone who was a patient there in the 50s. She also mentioned this to me. The other thing that shocked me was that they were made to stand in a line in the bathroom all naked and the staff would make nasty comments at their looks. It reminded me of the story of the Magdalene Sisters.

Where is the prosecutions for these abuses , I cannot find one old news record regarding this

All staff got moved to other care jobs. Nothing happened to them. I have met some people who worker there and they are not all the same. Supported some people that lived there too, and they were amazing people❤
