@@sthompson7838 The trigger would be determined by what generation Glock you had. Which the 45 is Gen 5. Also, yes it’s practically a 19 slide but the 45 is also listed as an option on just about any guns and parts site you’d ever want to shop with.
This G45 and the G19 gen 5 MOS are the best Glocks in current production. Other commenters are wrong because the 45 is NOT just a black 19X. Try putting 17rd gen 5 mags in your 19X during a fire fight and you will have major problems. A lip on the front of the 19X mag well will block reloading. The 45 will accept ALL Glock 17rd mags (old and new). The 45 also has front slide serrations that many shooters have been begging for. I carry my 45 in a horizontal shoulder holster where the compact slide does not poke out the back and the full size grip is not an issue. Very comfortable sitting or driving.
I prefer the all black Glocks but, bought the 43x in silver a few months ago & it's growing on me; it's really a unique coating . Now the 19x has got me intrigued.
I’m tired of the Glock 45 being mistaken for .45 acp crap. Nobody has ever bitched about the Glock 22! It shoots .40 and the list goes on. People always gona complain about SOMETHING!
_excited to received my glock 45 any time now. I just would like to thank you Lenny for your gun reviews & safety tips, i learned so much by just watching your videos on youtube,,,why? because you are a true teacher, you explained the topic so well & in a manner that an asian like my self would easily understand (i suddenly remember carl sagan). I shall continue to watch your videos... thanks again....- your fan from Manila Philippines.
Love my glock 45 i purchased 2 years ago. Also love my 43x. Would love to see a 26 slide on a 19 frame come out, which i would purchase in a second. But probably wont happen because of the 43x.
This model is my first Glock purchase. I was going to get the 19 but after seeing the 45 and a few test shots I made the switch. It shoots well and after adding the backstrap even more so. Can't wait till they make an actual 45 Cal.
@@hawghawg381 took far to long to get one in CommieFornia but I got it…..bout 6k through it so far and the thing fits in my meaty dwarf hands like a glove.
When I can I plan to buy a new blue label Glock 45 9mm with the factory Ameriglo. Glock 🇺🇸 lets 🚔👮🏻♂️👮🏿♀️ customers/officers buy 2 Blue Label Glocks per year.
I have a GLOCK 41 and I love it...but...let’s face it, it’s not IDEAL for concealed carry. I walked into my local Gun store (where I picked up the G41) and informed them of my issue. A guy behind the counter just looks at me, reaches into the case and handed me the G45...the second it slid into my hands I KNEW I had found my new CC.
Just purchased this Glock as my 1st gun Ever ! Yup 46 and finally interested in this hobby , as well as All the education and safety I can learn and absorb ! Great vid review 👍🏻.. please feel free to give me any New user information or tips !
I really want this piece but I really don't know why they inserted larger base plates on the gen 5 17 rnd magazines.. It's not compatable with the 19x frame. Darn Apple!.. I mean Glock!
Not sure if I just watched a 2018 glock video or an 80’s exercise tape😂 just waiting for him to tell me how many bicep curls I should do Awesome video though!🤩
The GSX100 should have had the back straps as well but I love it the ergonomics feel great in comparison to the traditional 19 frame , that glass infused polymer really makes a difference love it . Stay 🥶& 🔥‘em 🆙💥💥💥💥🤙🙏
Lenny: Glock did not design the magazine to drop out freely. They did it for the public requesting it. The original Glock 17 was issued with only one magazine, and was "NON" drop free, so the soldiers wouldn't loose it. I'm sure you know all this better than I, but I needed to correct that for the people non familiar with the Glock's changes through the times. I can't wait for you to move to TN, not for the sales tax revenue that the TN public will have to fork over, but that your closer to us, and now taking a short weekend trip will be well considered and anticipated, as we live in east TN.
I'd say 80-90% of Glock users, citizen shooters have 0 business put their 🖐 near the muzzle 😯. Front slats rub against the skin or holster int too. No bueno. 👎
Many Glock fans complained about the half moon cut-out in the frame and because of this, Glock did away with it; they listened. Also, the newer Gen 5's all have front serations. Some of the early G 17 Gen 5's didn't have a beveled frame to match the slide; I guess Glock was in a hurry to put them out. This has been remedied. The G 45 is my favorite Glock, hands down!
I'd love to see the 40cal crossover because 40cal is still very popular with law enforcement especially with depts that officers buy their own guns and even the dept bought guns.
Im from the philippines. I and my friends have earnestly hoped and wished that you'll make available carbine conversion units in your Glock stores here in our country. Im referring in particular CCU's for the large calibers and especially for the glock 20 and glock 40 and the glock 45 and glock 34 and lastly, for the glock 21 and glock 41. Also, there's no available glock 20 and glock 40 here in all your stores here. Thank you, sir.
I have no problems appendix carrying this. I put it just to the left of my zipper and it's great with t Rex arms raptor and the Raven concealment if you run a surefire
I upgraded to the G45 and it is now my every day carry ISW at 4:00 position. All day comfort in a hybrid Kydex/leather holster. But that’s my carry position. I recommend seeing and trying different holsters and carry positions that fit you.
Lenny is a shooting sports icon 👍.. it’s great to see him still very relevant and in the game 👍... having said that, does anyone else think that after the state of California eventually puts him out of business, because they will, that he would be an awesome infomercial personality?? I can see him selling Foreman Grills, and Ginsu Knives and being just as successful.. he has awesome motivation and is very positive when promoting products 👍... I wish he would move his business though... and do it before California makes the decision for him and leaves him so stripped he has to start over.. he’s been around too long and too great of a guy to have to deal with those commies.. AZ is just over the hill, and thru a set of traffic lights... freedom awaits.. there’s also many other free states that would love to host his business!! All the money he must pay into that shit state and only to have them use that money against him and everyone who owns even one firearm in that state... I wish he’d move his business to a state that will support him and his customers 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍
@@Eleven10Citizen ... I had no idea he was in TN, haha... I swear I’ve seen him mention how he was located in CA... Obviously he moved and I wasn’t smart enough to check before writing such a long post haha.. Thank you for the info and update 👍.. I should’ve figured he moved by then because he’s been around so long I could just never imagine him staying in such an unfriendly state with regards to business and firearms... Thanks again 👍🇺🇸
The gun is nice and everything I like all glocks I am a Glock fan man of course but why do u keep putting them sights on the guns why not charge a little bit more and up grade the sights please Glock Inc asap.
Most people don't know that the sights are polymer for Impact Resistance. They aren't cheap plastic sights, though they are the first thing that most people change. Most women that I have trained like the goalpost for faster sight picture..
Springfield Armory has had their XDm 3.8, 9mm with short barrel and full frame grip out for many years. The Glock "Crossover" concept is only new for Glock. Colt has had their Commander and Combat Commander out for decades. All those folks whining that the 19X and the G45 should have a long barrel and short grip are completely wrong. The Crossover or Commander concept is a smart move by Glock.
Maybe for open carry, though it still makes no sense, but definately not for concealed carry. It's the grip that's hard to conceal. Not the barrel. If you're going to have a full size grip then you might as well have a full length barrel. You lose nothing. You gain nothing by having a short barrel.
Zach LaValley 9mm is all that’s left. Everything else is obsolete...at least as far as concealed carry/LEO/and military duty is concerned, which is the vast majority of Glock’s business.
2 more things I'd like to see from is a frame option especially in 45acp but all calibers is get rid of the glock hump on grip and make it straight wall like that borderline illegal lower kit. 2nd is I'd like to see a model with changeable front straps so you have a choice with different finger grooves or no finger grooves.
Free Glock…. What do you pick? I already have a Hellcat Pro??? I won a raffle at a local shooting range C2 tactical and they called me and told me I was selected during the Glock Day raffle they had. Up to 650$ and anything over the I have to pay the difference. I was looking at a G45 MOS with a threaded barrel for 699$
I want to do some upgrades to my Glock 45, but never see listing for that model, what should I look for, model 17, 19 or gen 5. Love you vids the inform as well entertain.
Safariland website lists gen 5s. I purchased a new TS7 7737 rig for my gen 5 26 9mm left hand. The holster fit great, no problems 👍. The minor issue I did see, the rear belt loop SL offers is very tight-narrow for thick, lined CCW or instructor type belts. This can be rough to use a standard gun belt with the Safariland design. G Code Holsters offers a universal mount but it's not cheap. 🙄
