I’m trying to replace my battery too. @vishwajith88 how many years did you get out of your original laptop battery? I’m quite surprised mine only lasted 5 years from barely any use.

@howmuchdidthatcost not using your battery is actually bad for it. Draining it to 0 is also bad. Leaving it at 100% is also bad.

@@ItsBinhRepaired Saved me a huge headache because I was about to crack open the laptop to replace the hard drive. I didn't realize it was M2 and not a 2.5 inch SATA. That would have been a fun accident

Thanks for the video. I have the Flex 14API and planning to upgrade the SSD to 2 TB. Would you recommend the Samsung 980 Pro? Since a regular heatsink won’t fit have you had any luck with sticker thermal pads?

I would get the models without heatsink. I always see SSDs with them and thermal pads fail for some reason.

Thank you for the video effort. I have one question if you don't mind. My battery is bad. Can I just swap it out (I have replacement) or is there things I should be careful with considering the other components? I don't want to screw up the software volatile or otherwise. Again thank you.

Hi great video I have a question about the speakers, I need to replace them since they went bad Sound is no longer clear however when connect external or earbuds the sound is good so once I have the cover off can I just replace the speaker or will I need to disassemble something else inorder to get to the wire connectors Thanks for any input, rather know in advance from someone that knows Thanks Dan

Yes it did,actually did not have to replace the speakers, they sounded muffled so when I opened the back & got to the speakers I noticed metal dust was magnetized to both speakers & would not let them vibrate hence low muffled sound, once the metal dust was removed, sound was like new, I have read that many had the sound issue with no fix, thanks

I don't measure them. It's a standard m.2. You couldn't get the wrong size unless you were trying.
