@@kalumbulkfitnessit's hard to keep dust out of your room no matter how much u care for your stuff ,my laptop gets covered with thin layer of dust after just sitting for one day
Finding a gaming laptop on the smaller side is pretty tricky so it’s good to know this isn’t massive and seems quite portable. Thanks for the review! :D
It's a 15.6 laptop and it's not that bulky as for me using it from day to day use. Can easily fit into a more advanced laptop bag with some more pouches on it like packing an portable external disk drive. It's like around 10 - 12 pounds in total if I am carrying it around in my personal laptop bag. It's decently portable!
Honestly this is the most transparent video about this laptop.. nice content man! I have the same laptop, doing well 1 month playing intense games and doing well in the classroom!
Bought this computer about a year ago, beefed it to 32GB ram and I have zero complaints. Aside from some other games i'd like to play requiring medium graphics it's held up incredibly well, still gets updates for drivers and software, and is just as fast as it was day one. I worked at apple and am an apple user, but when I game, I am more than happy with the performance for COD, RDR2, GTA, Fortnite, and even game developing. Great review!
I have been using this laptop for about 3 years now, and I can notice a huge difference from what it was when I bought it new. A lot of games don't run smooth anymore as they used to before and my FPS has decreased a lot over the years. I am pretty disappointed at that because this thing was a beast once and now it keeps disappointing me more each month. But over all I had a great journey with this Laptop and I don't regret buying it.
im about to make your ideapad gaming 3 look way better, go into the amd software: Graphics tab: enable image sharpening- 50%, turn off anti lag bcz it actually makes u lag more, Display tab: enable freesync, turn off colour enhancement and vari bright enable custom colour and colour temp. control, set the following settings colour temp- 8200 brightness- 25 hue-0 contrast- 100 saturation- 160 and go over into video and audio and select vivid. your welcome.

@@vinnydarrc3953 Hey there! I haven't had a single problem and in fact really love it. I've played recent AAA games with few issues, such as BG3, RDR2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Sure, it's not the most beautiful graphics set up like a high end rig would get, but it's still an amazing laptop for the price. I highly, highly recommend it
I got the intel 11320H version with gtx 1650 and additional storage (256GB SSD,1TB HDD) it's game performance is amazing and I can run the most newer games with 60fps at max settings
@@brendanjacobs5305Never buy these types of laptops and expect decent batteries. Laptops like the IdeaPad, Nitro 5, and other budget gaming laptops are pretty much desktops. They have to be constantly plugged in or else the battery drains extremely fast.
Hello. Today I looked again at all the laptops we have available with full srgb coverage And I'm thinking between two options: $800 - LENOVO IDEAPAD GAMING 3 15IAH7 (82S900JMPB) 15.6 165HZ I5-12450H 16 GB RAM 512GB SSD RTX 3050 4GB $1050 GIGABYTE AORUS 7 9MF (9MF-E2EE513SD) 17.3". i5-12500H; RTX 4050, 6 GB Both options have full srgb coverage, and both are suitable for work, I will use an additional external monitor, + I will need to buy 32 GB of RAM.. in a gigabyte it’s annoying that all the ports are on the right and left and there are none on the back, maybe it’s a small thing, I don’t know, I think if I stop on Lenovo, will a 3050 card be enough for me if I want to play some toys. Now I’m not playing because the laptop can’t handle it 😁 I looked without ray tracing, the 3050 seems to work cyberpunk, Hogwarts legacy,... What do you recommend? Is it worth overpaying $250 for a gigabyte laptop?)
Bro! It is a very smart videocontent. I apreciate that you present the laptop after 6months later and not as new one. Laptop and other gear videos should present how it is works after xy months/years!
I recently got this laptop. But my specs are a little different. It has AMD ryzen 5 6600H, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, 8gb ddr5 ram and 256gb NVME storage. Mine came with a 1 year warranty and Lenovo gives you the chance to upgrade it. You also get 3 months of Xbox game pass, 2 months for amazon Luna cloud service and 3 months of free amazon music (for new subscribers). I got mine from amazon for $690 excluding tax but you can get it for $672. The tax is 40ish dollars so you would get it for around $710. Original price is 899 so that’s a really good deal. I will say that they must’ve changed some stuff because my screen is way brighter than the one shown in video. It is absolutely amazing and smooth with games especially the specs that it originally came with but I do plan to upgrade it to at least 1tb NVME and 32gb of ddr5 ram. After I do that, I know this laptop is going to be 100 times better than it already is.
What do you think about the display and the batery? I'm worried about this screen because is not 100%sRGB, and the batery life-time seens a lit bit smaller than the other gaming laptops like nitro 5
@@Sapphire_Ace thank you so much, it was a display model. i had to reset the computer because it had best buy logos lol but for that price its a steal.. my next step is upgrading ram and storage so i can play games like the sims, roblox, etc... its my first pc game laptop. so excited :D
@@Sapphire_Ace by the way, do a research on the ram before buying DDR5 to upgrade your laptop. I think this laptop can only accept DDR4, not DDR5. Good luck. I plan to do the same as you with NVME and RAM :)
bought a ideapad gaming 3 15IHU6 about 2 weeks ago. mine isnt the same (it has 16 gigs i5-1100h % 3050 ti) for about 700$, worth every penny. its my first flagship laptop
@@Sakrou 3-4 Hours and from experience, no fan noise from what i play (tf2 half life black mesa and other source games) definitely reccomend it if its your maximum budget
I've had this laptop for 2 years, ABSOLUTELY wonderful, Lenovo is W, second lenovo ive had in almost 6 years, they last forever and reliable, the only problem I had with this laptop was the battery kinda, but it is what you expect, and EVERYONE i know whose gotten this one has upgraded the ram, MUST HAVE, worth it
to anyone reading this, do not add a 16gb stick to an existing 8gb stick, you are still going to be using your memory at half the speed you could be. For dual channel only add a matched capacity stick, yes I'm saying that you'd yield more performance from 16gb of ram than 24gb.
Bought 15ACH6 on May 2022, everything's great except that you can't adjust the fan speed and battery drains at 40 to 90 mins on 60%. Overall, it's excellent. Oh, upgraded to 32GB RAM and added a 2240 1TB cheap nvme m.2 ssd
I have the same laptop but mine comes with i5 11320h and 16gb 1 slot from 1 so I can't really upgrade it ans the screen is 60hz so not really good for gaming overall great review man and I am gonna subscribe to you❤️
@@hallo6607 screen tearing happens to all devices if your settings are crap. I have the 60hz and it's an absolutely normal screen for gaming as well, I'm pretty sure you could upgrade it but is it really worth it? Nah
This laptop's been a year now for me using and it still works fine~ Running it with 16gigs of ram x2 8gb Might upgrade to 32 or just slap a 16gb Great vid!~
I got this laptop in June last year for work and those gloves but I am 46 and trying to avoid "arthur writes this" 😅.... 100% agree the battery is not great and we have power outages in South Africa so really not great ... good to the point video
Hi, Cyrus! Just a question, what are those gloves that you're using in the video? Does it help prevent carpal tunnel? If so, what is it called? Thanks!
I have the lenova Ideapad 3 , 12th gen i7 , rtx3050ti , 512gb ssd , 16 gb ram ddr 4. Unfortunetly all my games freezes 15-20 minute into gaming and it is a brand new laptop, have you experinced this problem or know people who do or do you perhaps know if there is any solutions? Thank you
Hey just a piece of advice if you use your laptop only on your desk do consider buying a coolingpad you just put your laptop on the cooling pad which is like a stand and it cools your laptop and it looks cool hehe...
I got the 15IAH7 core i5 12500H, 2*16 Kingston Fury DDR 4 3200 and additional 1tb ssd m.2 gen 4 also it's my first brand new dedicated gaming laptop I invested around 1k with taxes
2bh i just wanted to see review glad to hear its alright where i am its acsually 666 Euros im only getting it becouse as Rookie Truck Driver im gonna need my stuff with me soo buying this cheap new laptop will be perfect sence i only play Old Valve Games more then 3000 hours
I got mine too its i7 gtx 1650 ti Unfortunately, I got a heating issues in heavy games likes sniper ghost because of its fan is not separated but in terms of performance its totally awesome
I have a 2020 Gaming 3, with a ryzen 4600h and 1650, for two years now, upgraded to 32gb of ram and an additional 1tb M2 ssd, bought for 700$ and an upgrade of 150$. I’m thinking whether it’s worth spending another 150$ on an excellent matrix with 76% Adobe RGB
Bro Lenovo ideapad gaming the 3 the laptop you had or hp victus with same spec which is better can you tell me the drawbacks which has more Lenovo idea gaming 3 or hp victus
I only have this because I ordered the Lenovo legion 5 but amazing sent me the Lenovo idea gaming pad 3. Which was weird because the specs were the same
I got this laptop cause someone said try find a gaming laptop that a decent price as an everyday laptop. I love this laptop but the only thing i don't like about it is battery life and the memory which i plan to upgrade at some point. Screen doesnt bother me, love the keyboard, decent trackpad, and it doesnt really get warm like some laptops i had. I would love find a laptop thats a little smaller and just as good if not better than this.
Hey I am buying a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H RTX 3050 with 512GB/16GB 15ACH6D2 Can I put two 16GB ram sticks there? I've seen in Google they are telling that it's mixed upto 16GB RAM
I own this one, just with the 60HZ screen. So far so good, one year has passed. Do you think the temps would be better if these goddamned exhausts were place after the screen and not before it?
Glad the PC's doing well! Frankly, I haven't experienced any real issues with my laptop temperature-wise. It really has been near-perfect for me. However, if the temperature is a concern for you, I'd suggest either 3D printing those little "nubs" I have or checking out some sort of fan you can put under the PC. Hope this helps!
@@SeeRoosterTech I don't own a 3d printer but I do have a laptop stand. Ideapads only disadvantage is that we don't have fan control and that the area of the power button gets hot sometimes. I love it either way :) my idle temps can even drop to 38°C (no cooler stand) but I live in Greece so ambient Temperature is higher than average, This winter it even dropped to 32°C (with cooler stand).
hey! can you answer my question? so is it worth upgrading the 512 storage to 1tb of storage for like msfs 2020 roblox minecraft capcut 4k etc. and many add ons to the games plz answer
I have the same for about 1 year and a half I only use cooling pad under mine also I use it as a second monitor too for multi tasking and gaming when am not on my Xbox sx
Does the Monitor and the keyboard cocked Each other? i will buy this Gaming 3 soon. But im afraid it will end up like my old laptop , So my old (Lenovo s340) laptop has a broken hinge because The Monitor has the pull forced with the keyboard so they start to breaking more and more. its like the hinge was pulled by the keyboard , answer me pls;-;
HAVE A QUESTION. Im looking for laptop for the college and this one is now 800 euros on discount. Now i dont have any intentions playing any games on it i just need it for PowerPoint, Word and listening music on RU-vid and more less thats all ill be doing on it. Maybe ill install Rocket League but thats rly all. Soo will i have any problems in terms of overheating, memory or battery loss?

Also 3d modeling software like Blender. (if possible: Please recommend a few laptops under INR 80K) (Ps. Also I can't build a pc... already considered that point and would like to stick to a laptop) while waiting for a reply I'm searching up and currently considering after reading comments: Dell g15 5520, acer nitro 5 (both i5, 12gen , 3050, 16gb 512ssd), Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3(forgot specs). Do you think they are equally good choices?

From my research, any laptop with an NVIDIA GPU is preferred for music production. Additionally, MacBooks are very popular in that industry as well. So, this PC would be fine.
bro i have lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with ryzen 5 4600h and gtx 1650ti but while playing NFS payback, Forza horizon 5, gensin impact, sons of the forest... etc My graphics texture flikers or blinking. In NFS payback my car fly or destorted... I don't know what to do. now its 2 years so no warranty .... Is this a same issue are you facing or is this in my laptop only
I bought the lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with 256gb of storage and holy crap... send help. I only have enough space for my essential programs and Valorant. It's absolutely depressing seeing how well it runs Valorant and wanting to play other games, but literally not having enough storage to download them or enough money to upgrade the storage. I'm hoping to start a new job soon to upgrade the storage and ram, but for now it's honestly running everything fine. Just... don't buy the $600 version. It's not worth it. Trust me.

I would like to use this laptop when buying for more office / internet / studies / photoshop usage ! Therefore I really am keen on needing to higher up the battery performance ! Yet.. I do not have a clue how to do so, what to look for when looking for one ! If anyone has any tips on what to look for or perhaps which battery to use and how much higher I could get it ..! (As high as possible .. !) It would help me out a lot ! Also from the video; The one that you listed would higher up the battery performance as I understood correctly; Do you also how much higher it would go ?

very nice but i have a problem with the gpu, it doesn't use the rtx even on games and i searched months and asked lenovo , no impostations to change! i need an external monitor they said...but i don't wanna buy it someone knows a way to solve?(nvidia optimus )
Depends on your workload. For gaming? Of course the Asus Vivobook. But in terms of performance, they're pretty neck-and-neck. I'd suggest figuring out which of the following you prefer: the Apple ecosystem or Windows. That's your best bit in regards to first figuring out which laptop is better. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful day!
