right choice... i have been using Lenovo idea pad 305 with i3 5 th gen processor for the past 6 years(daily 8 hours continues usage) ,still it is running butter smooth. i am using autocad, photoshop, plc softwares, davinci resolve ... so i settled with Lenovo laptop.no of core counts in a processor is gimmick . it is just like commuting two persons using big bus. two wheeler is enough for that purpose

Good review...!!... could've mentioned processor spec as 6 core 12 threads, just my opinion... Bought this last week with 120 hz display and other config being same.. felt the same points you had mentioned in review.. battery backup alone could've been slightly better..other things are great given the budget.. i too started searching in 55k laptops range but ended up in 64k ... and R5 4600 is too good at this price range.. have a feeling that AMD would dominate soon in the Indian market..

HP price is still around 4k-5k higher for the same config..HP battery backup is roughly 20% better.. when it comes to service cost, lenovo will be a bit cheaper and repair is easier as it's assembly is different from HP.. HP also has decent service, but parts cost will be higher..

Idea pad is good value for the money spent. Legion config is almost similar but the build, cooling, audio and display is superior to ideapad. So stick with Legion.

We can't easily answer this, it depends on the cores. plainly speaking 6 core is better than 4 core if the cores are same. In most cases 4 core processor might have powerful cores compared to 6 core ones. So if you go for an advanced 4 core processor it will be better than previous gen 6 core processor. Hope you got it.

Im stuck in a dilemma, I'm planning on upgrading my laptop. I have an macbook air mid 2017 core i5 model. If i exchange the macbook for this laptop it could come around 25k. Given that i already have another gaming laptop with Rtx 2060 so im not looking for a gaming laptop. Now while using windows i always had to open the windows laptop and change parts whenever it goes dead example SSD. But for the past 5 years i had no issues with the Macbook air but i need to change it because the screen quality of macbook air is 720p and i find it hard to work on it anymore. Will this Laptop be a worthy upgrade or should i go for macbook air M1 again? As M2 is very expensive and base model of M2 is slower than M1.

If you are trying to replace your macbook this is not the right choice, I would suggest you to go for another macbook, equivalent on windows are equally expensive, I recently replaced my macbook air for 14 inch mbp, which was completely worth it but was expensive. For you try going for m1 air, if that fits your requirements, you might get offers on amazon/flipkart on deals this month, also try sourcing from US where you can get better offers too.

Yeah the thermals are well managed. Battery backup is average only but it’s not too bad. You can use it for 3-5 years if maintained well. Since it has upgradable RAM slots you can be hopeful to increase RAM when it gets slow for your usage.

Comparatively, both are identical in performance. Build preference is your choice, HP is slightly stylish compared to lenovo (it doesn't look like a gaming laptop) and battery wise HP has a very slight advantage. But service centre availability wise Lenovo is much better compared to HP and service cost is more in HP than Lenovo

Yes. Filmora will work without any issues on it. If the RAM is upgraded to 16, it will be even faster. But no complains as of now

All rounder laptop is difficult. It is very specific based on the activity you do. If it’s general purpose you can choose gaming laptops like the one in this video, for more higher utility you need even better config.

Ideapad slim5 is a pure office laptop. It’s lightweight and is not suitable for graphics intensive tasks. And full 8GB will be available for memory usage. So depending on your usage it will apply. Gaming laptop battery is normal only, but battery drain will be more because it has more fans and is suitable for heavy processing like games, rendering, heavy computing etc.

Acer laptops are good but serviceability is bad compared to Lenovo or HP. Unless you have something better than this config on acer with a lower price I will not suggest Acer.

This config is good for your requirements. You will get good render times. But battery is not that great when you run heavy tasks.

ASUS build and config is slightly better than Acer, their ROG lineup is awesome, ana you're right ACER's display is slightly better compared to ASUS in this range, but it wont make a big difference when you get used to it. And if you will be connecting external monitor, then no issues at all. Go visit a showroom to compare the display and choose the one you like.

Ti has very marginal increase in benchmark performances. It’s just a newer version of gtx1650. If the price difference is big go for gtx1650, if the price difference is minimal go for ti.
