This has definitely been Lenovo's year. All of the IdeaPad, LOQ, and Legion Laptops have been really good for each price point - along with the customisation available from the website.
I've bought one for me 13500H and loved it so much that got my sibling the same. Premium Build (far better than competition) Good Battery Good Speakers Fast Charge
Purchased 16 inch version of this laptop 3 months back. Really satisfied with it. Pros : Excellent built quality for the price Good for working professionals Brilliant display Cons : Very low sound Hinge could be an issue in future Chargers slower
Difference between 14 and 16inch? I want a portable laptop thinking to buy 14inch but I also need numeric keypad for my accounting work. Which one should I prefer then?
Have this for 3 years solid now! Only flaw is the hinge breaker down so badly so have to get it replaced… sometimes the entire back panel because of this. Best laptop to watch movies or videos or browsing. NOT FOR GAMING
Hi Ranjit, I am using slim 5 (graphic card and 15.6 inches version) since 2021. I want to give an honest review of user experience. The laptop is very good it can handle heavy games and applications. Biggest problem is the laptop keeps crashing if it gets too heated. Laptop hinge is also very big issue. I bought in 2021 and I changed the hinge 4 times in 2 years. Good and powerful machine but has many problems
For those asking about the hinge issue. When opening or closing the laptop, the hinge on the left or right side below the screen can break away from the brackets. In such a situation, new hinges need to be installed. This has happened to me 4 times in last 3 years. The lenovo technician told me this keeps happening because of poor design of the hinges
@@mohitagar1 no. The hinges do not collide. The body is made of plastic and hinges are made of metal. So, over time the hinges break away from the plastic body
For creators, a dedicated GPU is a must but this particular laptop doesn't even have an Intel Iris GPU. The Vivobook OLED series 2023 is still more practical, they have one gen older CPUs but they come with the RTX series GPUs at the same price.
Ranjit Sir is best tech youtuber . He speaks honestly on what his views are and doesn't give any biased opinions. Gives good technical insights about tech gadgets.
the first video of yours that i watched was the Mi Pad unboxing video way back in 2015 (i was 13 then), i've been following all your content since then. seeing your grey beard makes ME feel old too now, haha!
LAPTOP FOR CREATORS without a dedicated GPU? You gotta be kidding. It's like, going everyday to your office for work 50kms away from your place on a 8bhp scooter. Gets the job done but takes hell a lot of time.
can you compare Acer Swift Go 14 oled with Lenovo Yoga Slim 6i? both have 13th gen i5H. Which is a better choice? also does Motorola plan on releasing any flagship phone next year. was eagerly waiting for edge 40 ro but it never came.
@@ragi_dosa Our local lenovo exclusive store had it ordered a day before I bought it, they had already shown me that model few months ago I just didn't buy it then.
I would suggest go with asus or hp laptops rather, the amount of bios chip failures that have happened in lenovo laptops is unmatched compared to any other brand laptops. So buy it at your own risk, I will never buy a lenovo laptop again Ps:- ex slim 5i user, and ideapad 100 user.
New Intel Meteor Lake mobile CPUs (Core Ultra) are launched which have impressive IPC, and much more efficient than 12th and 13th gen. Also, the iGPU performance is vastly improved with integrated ARC graphics.
Hello Sir, love your content and your in-depth research on testing all the devices. Can you please Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Pro Gen 9 with Ultra Series. Thank You.
Hey Ranjit, can you suggest something ? Would a new s22 ultra be a good choice now for the next 4-5 years ? And about oneplus 11 ? Can that be considered now or should wait for op 12 ? Thanks
Why any tech channel didn't give information about samsung security breach alert. Why we follow you ? Indian government and news channel provide that news
Hello sir. Thanks for this video. I was looking for the Asus Vivobook Go 15 OLED. It's about ₹51,000. You think that's the best bet for the Photoshop users? It'll be great for us to know😊
Having a full size SD card reader is kind of must for creative people who need high speed data transfer from Camera to laptop. Is there any good laptop with this?
Of course, adding SSD will make a lot of difference. Laptop will be much responsive and boot times will be quicker. Windows will feel snappy. FYI if your laptop supports nvme SSD, install nvme SSD or else go with SATA SSD.
Lenovo support is poor though, had purchased a ideapad laptop. The camera stopped functioning, the engineers did replacement thrice during warranty and still it again failed. Have almost never been able to use the webcam. Repairs are not credible. Have been looking for other alternate vendors, don't trust lenovo any more
AMC post warranty is what the service team is after post warranty expiry. Intent to provide good replacement parts and the need for engineers who have an intent to ensure the issue is solved is necessary. The engineers are interested in only replacing a part and they do not check why the customer is having repeat issues for the same part. Since they did a replacement three times they should have taken ownership of the problem post warranty rather than asking for AMC for again wanting to replace the camera component. Poor service and support - one needs to keep that in mind.
Hey Please respond to my doubt on urgent basis 😭 65,000/- IdeaPad Slim 5i 13th Gen 13500H i5 85,000/- IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro Ryzen 7 6800Hs RTX 3050 120Hz Which one should I prefer.... Display colour accuracy mei jyada farak aayega kya?
Buy 16gb ram m2,it’s 3 year old apple is going to stop the production of m1 for m3 air,so buy 16gb m2 or wait for 16gb m3,macOS sonoma needs heavy processing
I have this same laptop (but an older version with slightly same specs). To be frank, it comes with beefy specs and it is good for creative professionals and developers. But let me be very honest, lenovo’s build quality sucks! The laptop’s hinge broke after 1.5 years and I don’t know why and how. I use all of my devices with utmost care, but still I faced this.
@@Naveenkumar-od6pzGo with macbook air without even looking any where else! Even the macbook air m1 is enough. I recently got the same air m1 with 16 gb of ram and 256 gb ssd - been using for coding, media and video editing (sometimes). It runs like rocket. It is my best investment till now in terms of electronic gadgets.
Nicr video Sir ! I purchased lenovo Slim 3 at 30k and it completed 2 years since the date of purchased I'm preety happy with it now I'm planning to sell it for 22k anyone intrested?
@@srbh90shan Not at all brother! I'm using it very carefully and even I care it by applied screengaurd, extra laptop whole cover and protect by kept it in a laptop bag.
Still working great not a single problem but I'm now planning to upgrade as it has 256 GB SSD so exchanging it for slim 5 for 35K as it gives me exchange value of 16K 😊
@@theepbenbalakrishnan2356 i have used dell extensively for work as well as personal. Only issue i faced was that i needed to replace battery after few years. Like after 5 year or so. You get quite better dell config in the amount that you will spend for hp. Also, didn't know much people using hp in my circle.
