Legion 5i Gen 7 is a solid 1080p gamer. Unpaid link: www.lenovo.com... I give away laptops and gaming chairs a few times a year - join us on Loclas! techadventure....
Got my 2022 5i around a month ago. RTX 3060/16 GB DDR5/12700H combo with a 1440p 165hz screen. Love everything about it though I do wish it had biometrics/Windows Hello. That's my only issue with it. I use it for gaming, music production and I'm also learning graphics design with it. Works great for everything. Right now I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077 with all settings maxed out at 1440p + all RTX settings on + DLSS Performance mode. Runs the game very nicely! Other demanding games I've maxed out on it include Arkham Knight at 4k DSR and FFXV at 4k DLSS. I'm quite happy with it and I think the only bottleneck I gotta worry about is the VRAM in about 2 or 3 more years. By that point I'll likely upgrade. This was my introduction to the Legion lineup and I'm quite happy with it.
@@TechAdventure1 Pro Tip: use LenovoToolkit to increase the tdp and 150watt stability feeding to the gpu. Get around 20-30+ fps boost, until it hit throttles. Which means we got the performance of rtx 3080ti for free. Except the cpu score will be lower.
That’s great! Thank you. I usually avoid these actions because I am concerned about the long term impact on the GPU. What has been your experience long term?
greetings, very nice vids. would u mind to compare this unit side by side with 5i pro ? so we can see the screen difference between 16:10 and standard screen on 5i. thanks in advance
