Nice review !! I really like the legion series, provides great hardware for the price, build is also good. I liked that its little slim and light still thermals are not compromised. My friend wants to buy a laptop, his budget is around 1.5 - 1.7 lakh. I'm recommending him Macbook Air M3 15" 512/16GB but he is bit confused whether he should go to mac or not that's why he is looking a windows laptop too, can you suggest some please? I liked this one, will recommend this to him. He dosen't game, want's a powerful laptop, mainly coding and office purpose, little bit into ML. Thank you :)

What is your use case? If you're into 3d design, I would suggest this model, else a macbook should be enough too. For pure 3d tasks and also AI the Lenovo would be much better.

The macbook is lighter would give you better battery life and performance is good even without being connected to a charger, the legion would give you better specs for the price but is heavier and performance lowers when not connected to power. Storage and memory is not upgradeable on the macbook and is very expensive to upgrade(can't be upgraded later), have to choose high model when purchasing. Legion 7 can be upgraded later.

Is it Core i7 or Core i9? WiFi 6E oe WiFi 7? I think somewhere else in the video it was written as i7 and WiFi 7

The RTX 4070 offers 144 tensor cores (4th gen) , it also supports CUDA for hardware based rendering and accelerarion.

Hey Vinayak, i have a doubt please clarify...i have two options for a laptop RN. 1. Asus rog strix g16 with i7 13650Hx and rtx 4070 at 2000$ 2.Lenovo legion 7i with i7 14650HX and rtx 4070 at 2156$ which one should i opt for? Please help me from this wreck :,(

Lenovo has better build, with the aluminium frame, top, middle and bottom. Asus is all plastic except for the top. Lenovo of course is 14th gen so newer. If you don't mind spending the extra 156 usd get the Lenovo.

It has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, it supports hdr content.

@@Abhishek-su7bv the pro series have a bigger vapour chamber, liquid metal on the cpu, faster refresh rate display. They're quite similar but the pro 5i will have better cooling and build quality. Are you sure you're getting them at the same pricing?
