How's the battery life? Can you get around 6-7hrs for coding? I'm planning to buy one but i'm not sure of the battery.

The Intel 13th gen have a very decent battery life. It's hard to tell since it all depends on the software running and your settings.

How does it compare with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9? I'm not too familiar with Lenovos but there's so many to choose from it's overwhelming

It's a matter of personal choice and your requirements. Speed vs battery life. Weight vs portability. I'm using a Dell XPS 12th gen Intel at the moment.

I haven’t experienced any failures yet with the USB-C on hundreds and hundreds of laptops. Maybe I’ve been lucky???

Where is the best L series? Or E series
@BobPellerin
@BobPellerin 5 месяцев назад
Best is hard to define. Depends on your requirements and budget. I personally love the Dell XPS I am using at the moment. The Lenovo Slim 7i I reviewed was also nice to work with.

Is it good laptop for software developers?
@BobPellerin
@BobPellerin Год назад
That depends on a lot of factors seeing as "software" can mean a lot of things. I usually tell people to use a desktop if they can. If you need to be mobile and you can expense it, go for something with a faster CPU and lots of RAM. The latest Gen 12/13 CPUs are very responsive compared to the older Gen 8-10.

I have a question, lenovo allows customization for this laptop. If I choose 40 Gb (8 + 32) will it cause any mismatch or performance issue? I mean lenovo company itself will upgrade the laptop and ship it.
