It is important to note that the internal battery must be disabled first in BIOS settings before unplugging its connection to the motherboard. Not doing so could blow up the a fuse in the LCD. Upon disabling the internal battery in BIOS, remove external battery and any power connection (USB C ports) then double check by pressing power button if laptop would not power up as a verification that internal battery is in disabled state.

They will not look identical so the teardown process will look slightly different, but you can utilize the knowledge you learned from this video to identify the parts inside! Be sure to disable and unplug the internal battery before working on any internal components or a screen replacement. If you run into issues you are unsure of, it never hurts to look up a guide for your model. Thank you for the kind comment and best of luck!

It depends more on the number that comes after the i5 or i7. I wouldn't recommend anything lower than i7 8xxx or i5 8xxx due to Windows 11 support issues. CPU benchmark is a great website to compare CPU specs!
