Thank you, great video. bought the CT-X636F screen with frame from Aliexpress. Was fixed in the time it took to watch the video, with a few pause and rewinds.

That's IT?! I bought a Duet then the screen broke, bought an upgraded 256gb Duet, that screen broke so I settled for a Tab A7 lite. I'm fixing both my Duets now for less than I paid for just one of them. Gods, you've saved me so much money I thought was lost and gone. Thank you can't express how much this has helped. You deserve a sub and like times a million.

Thank you for the video. I changed the screen with frame by myself. This is very helpful. One question; I forgot to attach the yellow sticker for the flex cable connection and now the screen is attached and closed. Is that an issue? I don't want to open the screen again and put the Sticker back unless it is really required. Please advise.

Just changed mine. Make sure you get the plastic frame with the sticky rubber to keep your screen in place.

what do i do if my keyboard keeps detaching even though it’s saying it’s not , like on the screen it shows it as detached if it’s not in a certain position

I have one with a corner cracked, the screen still works and some touch as well. Is it possible to change just the glass and reuse the LCD? The part price is pretty different between the glass replacement and the full LCD + glass kit.

Hi Thank you for getting in touch, the touch screen and the glass are bonded together, it would be a mammoth task trying to separate the LCD and touch Digitizer. There is a high chance of cracking the LCD while trying to separate them. I hope this helps.

Hi Thank you for your comment, i have my own suppliers, however I have used aliexpress in the past for the same screen and it worked perfectly, get the one with the frame it will make the task a lot easier. Thanks again Amko

In the video you mentioned about making sure the touch screen works. Can you walk me through how to make the touch screen feature work after replacing the screen?

I mean make sure the touch works before you bond the screen.
