@@peser71 this is a good way to describe it. i have perfect eyesight and the fuzzy text and icons in 2020 version was too bothersome. waiting for my 2022 version to arrive. i am sure I will miss the thin bezels on the 2020 version. it was really beautiful.
I'm still waiting for 8 inch tablets with good performance to come into the market. Most are either midrange or unavailable outside China. I'll see if I need a 10+ inch tablets when my work flow needs to.

Which of the two do you recommend Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 or 2022. I prefer 2021 but people say the display is bad. Is the display quality difference between 21 and 22 that big?
How is the 870 compare to 1300t model though? Since 1300t support AV1 codec is it more future proof? Also 1300t is coming to global so there is that advantage of rom
do you know how big is the difference in performance between the kompanio 1300T and sd870? the 1300T comes with 6gb ddr4 and sd870 comes with 8gb ddr5.
The 1300t is compared to a SD865. I'm using a SD855 phone and can play call of duty with no problem on high settings. It normally has 8gb of ram. It's plenty for Android.
Hi there, do you know how the display compares to the original 2020 pentile display? Is it noticeably sharper? Or is the fuzzy text still noticeable? I have very good eyesight and had to return the 2020 model because it was too fuzzy. Thanks in advance.
Honestly this tablet is what im looking for atm. However software updates are super important to me. Any information on how many years of major OS and security updates this tablet will receive?
Depends where you buy I think. In the UK they offer this tablet as Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2. It says specifically on their website it will support android 14 when its released.
@@giztoptech Yes, I get that, but if per example I faces an issue with the chinese stock ROM and want to flash the tablet with the chinese ROM. it's not available anywhere! Only Global ROMs that are available and not compatible with the chinese tablet
2 things I hate about all tablets..Camera and speakers...I want a tablet without camera and without speakers...just 3.5mm input jack, a good screen, good processor and memory that's it.

Chinese version ROM is not so good, Netflix is detecting it as L3 Prime only on HD and sadly there is still no fix about it. it doesnt have a fingerprint scanner as well XIaoxin Pad Pro 2022 (CHINESE ROM Ver.) TB132FU
@@darylp9306 got the SD870 version. No sim slot. Only sd card expansion. Its very good, no complaints, just ordered the official keyboard and waiting for it to arrive

Define "better". MT version has AV1 support which is suspected to become compulsory on all major streaming platforms within the next few years. Slightly better battery life than Snapdragon (6nm process vs 7). Snapdragon is roughly 15% faster CPU-wise, comes with 2gb more ram, etc. Each is a compromise.
thank you so much, this was a really helpful video. the only video i've come across that makes any mention about the crappy pentile display on the 2020 and 2021 version. i bought the 2020 xiaoxin pad pro but the blurry text was just too annoying, so i bought the 2022 version and waiting for it to arrive. I am trading the beautiful tiny bezels and thin metal body for a cheap construction and better screen. really sad i couldn't have both.
