THANK YOU SIR ! WELL DONE ! (also ... screwdrivers used for the bottom cover Torx T5 (two kind of screws: 6 long and 4 short; same head) and a tiny phillips for the 2 "hidden" screws under the pads ) .
It really is a beautiful piece of kit. So simple, so efficient, so flexible. And powerful enough to use for 3DMAX, including a little rendering. And gaming with any game that likes Intel 4000, which means anything before 2009, as well as some more modern games. Me like. Mines Orange and I just love it.
I'm having an issue after my son pushed my notebook off the bed and it hit the floor. I have to open the laptop to a certain spot in order for the screen to come on, if not then the backlight turns on but nothing comes up. I think something got knocked loose on the motherboard so I'm popping it open to see if anything looks damaged.
Hi! If i turn on this laptop, i have "no boot os" message after lenovo turn on screen. Is there any solution to enter the bios or boot menu when i start this laptop? Thank you for your respond..
I am a fixed income senior who needs to fix my Yoga 11s. It's either the digitizer or video cable. I have both parts coming to me via ebay.ca. Could you confirm the location of the digitizer board. Is it in the screen top or bottom assembly? And how about the cable? Touchscreen has been having problems for awhile. It would only work in certain positions, driver showing hardware was not connected unless I hit that certain spot by moving it. I was happy to find your video and have watched the first 10 minutes and was anxious to write you. Also is it a big deal if I don't have a static wrist ban? Thanks in advance for any help.

Dear Sir Good Morning I have a problem with a laptop, kindly help me. in the desktop showing Preparing Automatic Repair, Diagnosing your PC, not supporting to open.
If it loops and can not be repaired - Get Windows 10 Recovery USB (use a empty 8GB minimum USB flash drive). Then re-load Windows 10 on this - it works.
Is there an disassembly instructions on how to get to the SSD and CMOS battery... and how they look like? iFixit has only RAM and the main Battery. Maybe a time link to regazzz taking out those things?
Hi, I this these steps and now my laptop does not turn on :( it was fully charged and the tiny light does not either turn on when I press the power button, help please! Even connected to the power source
Yes when I examined the motherboard I noticed that a 0402 resistor has been knocked off when I disassembled it. I checked the shell and found it, it measures as 100 ohms so I grabbed a replacement and soldered it under the microscope at work. Full function was restored after that, it must have been part of the start up post circuit. Hope that helps troubleshooting.
hello! I hope you can help me. the keyboard works fine on mines but the upper right corner is a but lose. like I can push it up a little bit. can I user super glue to stick it in there? it's not a big damage. just bothers me whenever I click delete or backspace because it's a little lose so it's sticking up a little bit. i can see that there is a screw like thing on that corner but I don't see any screw. is it supposed to be that way? I wanted to take it apart like your video but Idk what screw u use but the screw driver I have at home is not working on this. seems too small. help. thanks :)
+regazzz OK yeah left loose right tightly. spent . I will try again my laptop sucks down when I plug it in and am not in the cord recall. was at it for 1/2 hr trying to remove the screws. OK later
hello i have been having troubles with my laptop. it keeps overheating and i just want to open it to clean the fan. i saw that when you opened the keyboard the fan showed and i tried to take off the keyboard but it was giving me trouble and i gave up and tried to push it back in but the corners are still a little opened and all i wanted was to fix my overheating issue and ended up with a slightly opened keyboard. (rookie accident) can anyone please help me?
Overheating issue usually cause by a caked heatsink compound. If you clean the old heatsink compound and change with a fresh one helps the overheating issue and also remove dust in the fan and exhaust. If for some reason not fix the overheating issue, then it's the motherboard has to be replaced unless you are comfortable to do TO REFLOWING solder on the CPU.
@@michelearnoni01 well the bios should be accessed even if there is no operating system. Usually you restart your laptop and right after Lenovo logo lights up, press buttons. On some laptops it could be needed to press it with fn key. Did you found anything on the internet?
+Agent_Napkin More than likely you can't, in the 11 and 11s series, the graphics card is integrated into the motherboard, physically soldered in place, so no, you cannot replace the graphics, unless you replace the motherboard.
its hardcore as a whole; almost military approach...; despite missing the reason ... searching if new 11IBR has upgradeable SSD, hypnotized by this ... :-)))
Yep, strange that there was none here. If you look closely, there is a mSATA space for one. Not sure if the poster describes that is was missing?! Unfortunately, this model does not use any type of m.2 SSD. mSATA is like old school and hard to find. Largest I have seen was 512GB. The one I have on a bench at this time is a Samsung 128GB mSATA
