please make a video about transform equations from one cordenate system to another (flow of fluids or heat transfer for example) i just memorize that but i dont understand how it works especially in a 3D, you are that guy with that brain that can explain things like these, your videos help me a lot to understand a lot of things that books leave on words and abstract concepts, regards from Mexico and have a great day
Your explanations are really awesome, they really help me in understanding very typical easily. I don't need to imagine the topic, you animate it ... Thank you.
Truly appreciate the time that goes into making these wonderful videos. They are the best videos for understanding physics in a way that is enjoyable to watch. Elegantly animated with clear knowledgable narration. Thank you so much.
I got to know that you were a a professor , thank you so much professor Eugene Khutoryansky .. Your vidoes are the best and I am a kid so I like your video and it helped me understand about the Optics, lenses, and optical illusions created by the refraction of light .. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH professor ..
Thank you so much Eugene for all of the amazing videos you make. Your dedication to making Physics videos is quite amazing. You make everything so much easier to understand and visualize. Thank you so much :) I hope you never stop making these vids. Lots of love and respect for you from Australia. Thanks again!!!!
Please make a video on string theory. That is about the only thing you yet don't have a video on. It would be great. Also, string theory is such a thing which has a lot of potential to be explained by animation. Things like Kaluza-Klein concepts, higher dimensions, M-theory etc... Pls make videos on string theory. It would be most helpful to many people. You have the potential of explaining the hardest topics with absurd ease. You deserve something more but as of now, I think you are the only one who can help us all by working on string theory. Thanks a lot, professor and we are grateful to you for your work.
great video @physics Videos by Eugene khutoryansky .Loved it! your voice is also so soothing and so wonderful. I am your greatest fan.I am watching all your videos. Thanks god I found such a wonderful channel to learn.
I am convinced you have the best science channel on youtube. Would be EXTREMELY interested in learning how you anaimate your videos. As always outstanding content :)
Thank you, sincerely. True educators give their knowledge for free, and very few can make the topics so intuitive and understandable. A student, to a teacher.
You deserve a noble prize for these videos! I studied many of these subjects in high school and undergad many years ago, but for the first time I can truly understand them.
Your videos are awesome! Last year i learnt a lot of physics from your channel, especially electricity and magnetism, they helped me to really understand what was going on. Your teaching skills and your devotion to always keep making this animations (which im sure must be hard) are impressive, Feynman would be proud of you as a teacher xD. Also, last year i won a bronze medal in my county's national physics olympiad, which was kind of a dream of mine, one that i don't think would come true if it wasn't for your videos, so i just figured i should thank you for that as well!
So, there is no such thing as an EM field? Could you make a video explaining that last bit about the exchanging of photons? That's, literally, the first I've heard about it, maybe I'm behind.
Quantum electrodynamics is the theory that explains the interaction of photons with electrons, and it is on my list of topics for future videos. Thanks.
Was about to comment about this exact thing! Never heard anything like that before. If I didn't know how much Mr. Khutoryansky knows about physics I might have wrote it off as hogwash. Have you had any luck determining what he was talking about?
when I heard that part of the video I paused, pondered, then rewound to do a double take because I wasn't sure if I completely understood what I was hearing. but I indeed heard you correctly the first time, and needed a few more passes to wrap my head around the severity of the statement
Your material and research is always wonderful and the animations great. I would love to watch one explanation on Transistor Amplifier, Your Transistor switch video is quite good.
Hats of for you sir . The most beautiful line was that photons can pass through each other and if all photons are present at the same location they altogether appear white. This is what I saw in my dream of photoelectric effect and this is 100% satisfactory video. I hope that the video of photoelectric effect will also be awesome and more fabulous than I have wished thanks sir Eugene . So beautifully explained the concept of lenses and refraction of light. One of my questions is about light speed paradox which I have also sent you via email. This paradox is about gravitational redshift that a person standing in space in such a way that his smallest drawn projection on the path of ligth is always prependicular to that path , then if two yellow photons escaping a gravitational field become red with the passage of time then should the distance between them increase or the distance between them remains same ? I mean to say that the increase in wavelength should correspond to a change in distance (change in velocity) thereby violating Einstein theory of relativity. The only possible way this theory is not violated is that the color only appear red with respect to observers standing in the path of light as if it has never changed while the observers standing outside the path of light with only feel the time slowed down . Sir help me please and please correct me. If you somehow can't manage to explain verbally with 100% clarity then please make a video on this case and add it in your video on gravitational redshift . I will be very thankful to you. The day you upload any of your video is the most beautiful day of the month.
I don't yet have videos on string theory, but as you know, I already have many videos discussing General Relativity. Though, my plan is to make additional videos in the future which go into much greater detail. Thanks.

The photons are not being absorbed and reemitted by the materials atoms. If this were the case the photon would be released in a random direction and at a random time. Sixty Symbols has a great video on why light slows down in certain materials. Sorry if I'm being overly picky. Love the vids.
i have been watching your videos since i was in highachool. i'm in my second year in college and your content is actually helping me in some of my classes. i watched all your videos and i still don't know a lot about you or the narrator and i would like to ask you some questions about you and the narrator 1-what was your job before youtube or do you have a second job Besides youtube? ( i would assume physics professors ) 2- how old are you guys? 3- does the narrator own a personal youtube channel? 4- would you ever make a face revel? (you have a huge number of subscribers and they want to know more about you ) 5- where are you from guys? i would love to get some answers from you and the narrator. keep up on making these amazing videos (:
I can send this information through a private message. I prefer not to post personal information publically on my RU-vid account. I am glad to hear that my videos have been helpful. Thanks.
Physics Videos by Eugene Khutoryansky as you wish. my email is malm7arb@gmail.com i am sorry if i bothered you with these questions. famous youtube channels usually like to share few things with their subscribers. its ok if you don't want to answer them.
Starting to think these videos are more to massage your animated physics skills ego. Great stuff, how you make such mathematically correct videos is a mystery to me.
When extending lines to show the point of converge, have you tried using dashed lines? I've seen steel construction drawings use dashing to distinguish extended lines, and the effect was pretty good overall. I'm not sure if it will help in the case of your videos, because your use of an animated transition already shows the difference well enough. Even so, dashing (or some other visible change) may help clarify the difference between actual paths taken by the photon and apparent paths created by straight extensions. Best wishes always! I very much appreciate these excellent videos.
What about the ray of light that is just at critical angle so that it just grazes out glass slab , will it obey time symmetry. How will the light decide at what particular point it has to dive into the slab?
Thank you very much for publishing this very iinstructive and enlightening series on maths and physics... May you allow someone to use them in schools?
thank you very much for such a amazing explaination....can you please cover the topics of fluid and solid mechanics and also kienetic theory of gases ...it's my humble request.....
Great video Eugene! This channel has taught me so much, but here I have a question: What is meant in 15:00 when it says that there are no electromagnetic forces, but only because of photon exchange between charged particles. Do u have a video where this is explained more? Thanks
There are electromagnetic forces, it is just that we now believe that electric and magnetic fields do not exist, and that these forces are instead caused by the interaction of photons with matter. Quantum Electrodynamics explains how photons interact with electrons, and I plan on making a video on this topic.
I would like to see how e.m. waves are produced exactly, every detail of it. All we learn are varying electric fields are created which then create magnetic fields and mutually induce each other. And your videos give exactly how these waves look. So how do you start making an em wave? Perhaps a video on antennas and telecommunication.
aditya sai Think of the EM field as a number of strings extending away from a charged particle. When you jiggle the particle (ie, when you accelerate it) you create ripples that travel along the strings. Those ripples are light. So any time you have charged particles vibrating or accelerating in some way, EM waves will be produced from them. I think Eugene already has a video on this actually.
Thanks a lot for making concepts understandable through this video. In this video at time 2 min 20 sec there is mentioning of left side I right side of wave. Generally we have CREST and TROUGH for wave but what does this left and right side of wave mean?
I love all your videos, and I think those videos are the best explanation videos I have watched on youtube. Can you make a video about EINSTEIN FIELD EQUATIONS, please? because I have some problems with the geometric mean in that equation, such as Christoffel symbols, Lie derivative, covariant derivative,... I hope you can make more videos in the future (I cannot wait for 1 month) Thank you so much
I will be covering those topics in upcoming videos. The next video is going to be on visualizing tensors, followed by a video on Einstein's Field equations. Thanks.
