Lentenor finishing third in a allowance optional claiming race at Delaware Park on August 23, 2011. The race was run at a distance of a mile on the main dirt track after it was taken off the turf course due to rain in the days prior. Lentenor broke from the one hole, and, this was his second race back after a 10 month break due to a shoulder injury. Racing for just the second time on the dirt, he didn't seem to like the dirt hitting him in the face, and, IMHO, it was obvious as he came down the stretch with him running with his head up, most likely to avoid the dirt hitting him in the face. A third is good considering being his second race back and running on a surface he isn't used to.
