Great review, although it could have more content about air coolers as well since they are a great option for this very versatile case. It' s possible to go for air coolers with 120mm fans. According to the specs, it can fit air coolers up to 155m high, but other youtubers managed to fit slightly taller air coolers like Noctua NH-12A and CM Hyper 212 without any mod or workaround. I have a NR200 and I wanted a Scythe Fuma 2 for it, but it was out of stock everywhere in my country, so I went with a Mugen 5 Rev B. The balance between thermal performance and noise level is very good! My PC is very quiet and temps are really good!

I caught the white NR200 on sale at Amazon for $65 USD. Went with a air cooler build, using 2 Noctua fans in the top, 2 slim Scythe fans in the base, and 2 fans in the side bracket. Running a Ryzen 7 2700x with the Wraith Prism cooler with 16gb of Crucial 3600mhz memory. Still using an ancient Zotac GTX1070 GPU until prices come back to MSRP. All of it powered with a Cooler Master 650 gold SFX power supply. What an easy case to build with, all the panels are so easy to remove and replace.

Been watching your reviews for a week or two now, this one has me subb'd. You should do potentiality for all of your case reviews - like would three 140mm fans fit in the front of the Pure Base 500DX?(I have one arriving literally as I am typing this and my bet is that they do sans 2 potential screws) Evenly paced, slower, and break downs where you show all the different angles of a case like this are awesome and you do them well. I look forward to seeing future case content.

Now that there are 135mm tall dual tower coolers from Thermalright and ID Cooling, and the 145mm tall Noctua D12L available it may be time to look at other air cooling options in this case. Thank you.

Actually, now that I have the NR200P I've noticed the Mugen 5 is just a hair too tall if using the glass panel, maybe 1-2mm. It closes but not completely flush. No problem with the mesh panel though.

For custom water cooling, could you use an EK FLT 120mm reservoir in place of the cylinder reservoir for extra room to work with?

i think 2 cooler bottom, 2 top and gpu direct on the mainboard will run really good with glas to.

Leo if you can use an graphic equaliser on your microphone (like using ableton live), Do a V cut and completely cut off frequency 5000KhZ, left side of the the V should be above 4300Khz and the right side of the V 6000hz. your S's are really hissy. Cutting out 5000khz will fix this

Scan say this case comes with two side dust filters as well as the top and bottom ones but I haven't seen any reviews that show the side dust filters. Also do you have any recommendations on which mobo to pair with maybe the Rysen 5 5600x? I was hoping to find an up to date one which doesn't require a bios update to set up. I'm guessing I may have to get a Rysen 5 3600 or something.

Best setup if you can: Noctua C14S with a 120mm fan underneath and 140mm on the side panel right above it SFX PSU on the correct notch Another 140mm fan on the side panel 2 slim or regular 120mm fans on the bottom depending on GPU, intake 2 slim or regular 120mm fans on the top exhaust i7 8700k and RTX 3080 founders is quiet with this setup even at full gaming load with the gpu undervolted (undervolted but still runs at stock or slightly above stock clocks) and gpu fan capped to 50%. GPU temp never goes above 62 degrees, CPU floats around 50 or so.

Gigabyte have just updated the specs of their Master/Xtreme Aorus 3080 cards: L=319 W=140 H=70 mm. The NR200 specs show a limit of 60mm but there’s still quite a bit of space at the bottom. Do you think a 70mm thick card will fit without the fans being too close to the bottom panel?

idea... with the nvidia 3000 series thats only have a half size PCB under the shroud, you might actually be able to fit a Dual 2x240/280 Radiator setup, full loop and decent res/pump? 1x rad bottom mounted, 1x rad in the side bracket, the res/pump in front of the gpu mounted on the bottom rad. Leo needs to test this out! :)

How about the Thermalright Silver Soul 135 air cooler? I haven't tried it yet (will soon), but their measurements have it at 135mm high, which should fit this case with the TG cover. If the air tower is exhausting to the rear, isn't it drawing in all that hot air expelled from the GPU inside the case? Someone else on YT (JSyntax) had his tower draw air in from the rear of the case. It will still get some exhaust from the GPU, but maybe not as much...?

With the tempered glass panel the best airflow config I’ve had success with is Rear intake, bottom intake, top exhaust I’m using **scythe fuma 2 rev.B.** Cpu cooler It **just** fits inside without touching the tg panel I’ve got the fans on the cooler running as intake as there is no other place to pull in cool air for the cpu The top fans are running exhaust And I added two slim 120mm as bottom intakes since the gpu restricts how tall those intakes can be Playing Elden ring for a couple of hours my cpu temps now hover around 65C which is down roughy 10c when the cooler was set to exhaust I have a 5600x on a mild over clock to 4.2 And a 3080 gaming trio On an itx platform with a tempered glass panel and a hot and humid Texas summer I’d say that’s pretty good. I have all noctua fans in this case, even swapped the fans on the scythe for good measure I have 3 slims and 3 regular Their models are NF-A12x15 and NF-Ax25 respectively There is still some tweaking I can do I think

Hope new revision NR200 with top 240mm AIO, Atx PSU support & extra few mm for nh-d15 support. this is my build case right now and happy with it performance.

@@KitGuruTech My old Ophion evo can use 240mm radiator on top (280mm few adjustment) & ATX psu still same 18L like NR200, i dont like sandwish, bad airflow & TG. there build out there with NR200 use ATX psu with few adjustment. some even can fit Matx mobo. Nr200 top plastic got tick plastic hole before the fan which take space. What im asking maybe CM can add those specification which make this case best itx case. i love My NR200 case but if they add those feature without compromising 18L, i throw my money at them.

2b fair: the gpu at the bottom has to suck fresh air though the dustfilter. This could potentally result in higher temps compared to the vertical setup, where no filter is present. That said, ether way I expect dust accumulation over time due to the lack of a dustfilter on the intake side panel. Could this affect kitguru's recommendation regarding the product?
