One thing, which was my favorite part of this event, when Leo finds the metal, it says he started laughing like a maniac because he was so happy. That and when Calypso says about the singing part, Leo says “I always tap dance when my machines break. Works every time.” Or something like that. There just my favorite lines.

Sorry if I offend any Caleo shippers, but I feel like their relationship was a stretch. I don't think that they're a good fit, and this isn't just because I want him all to myself
They are very realistic couple unlike many of the other couple. in TOA they drift apart with Cleo wanting to go to school and have a normal life and Leo not being mature enough for her. I do like them as they are the most realistic couple. No love at first sight, magical fall in love and everything work out, but a lot of hard work and sacrifice like a lot of real couple especially since they were so young. Hence why I don;t think everyone like them. The PJO series is more fantasy story so something so realistic is kinda not as fun to read but that just my guess.
I mean- this ship is meant to fail. Like- Calipso fell in love with every man who end up on her island. Leo is not special for her. He is just the other man who was on her island, who leave her and i mean she fell in love with Odysseus (who de facto has wife and grown adult son so he was an Elder i think) and she fell in love with Percy. She's too toxic. She wanted to keep Odysseus and Percy on her island forever, she don't care about that they have their love interests, she don't care about their feelings. Leo could end up with a broken heart again, just becouse she found another man. I hate Calipso from the beggining when she first appeard. I didin't read Apollo series yet but i just can't do this becouse of how i hate this girl! I would love read every single Riordan becouse i love his book, but i can't stand this woman, so when you say that she will be in Apollo series more i don't want to read it! I just can't. I never liked concept of Calleo ship. She's immortal, he's mortal, it's just not gonna work. edit: You said that Leo compered her to his bullies. Also Leo can DIE. Calipso can't. He's so easy to replace for her
The main difference is that she didn’t like him from the start like Percy, they had to develop and gain respect and feeling for each other. Also leaving olgygia took away her immortality
