@derekgaffoor6597 why would you judge her as not a true dog lover. Are you a true dog lover? What defines your statement. Don't just say something without justification. I'm going to take a wild guess that you don't even have a dog. You would have backed your statement. Share some of your lovely videos if you have a dog or you are a dog lover. Until then, keep your negative comments to yourself or look at other channels. Perhaps the ones that teach you elevate your thinking 🤔
Fully support this move to spay, currently have 10 dogs 5 being puppies from a stray stray dog I took inn who was pregnant and I didn;t know, the puppies made 3 weeks since they born yesterday and the hardest thing for me to do right now is finding home owners for the puppies, as my heart is grieving just thinking that I have to give them away and how the mummy dog will feel, I have ask God to guide me to do the right thing, but due to me being sick I am praying for a good outcome for the puppies.
Oh gosh I’m so sorry, I could understand fully how you feel and what you’re going thru, finding a loving home for them is so hard, there’s so much strays and homeless dogs, we don’t need to contribute to any more, I hate to see people breeding dogs for money Geezzzz
I knew how you felt...... my baby pup contracted parvo 2 years back........ I cried like a baby for him...... now I am so protective over him...... literally like how a parent would be protective over their child. ❤
It's sad to hear that you were getting negative feedback about spaying and neutering, I was really hoping that most people's attitude towards dogs was changing. There are too many stray dogs out there because people are not doing this. Thank you for saying these things on your platform... hopefully, the stray population improves. Also, if ever you have to take Leo in for any type of surgery you could probably ask for a prescription for a sedative or something to calm him down. Poor thing was very stressed. You're a good doggy mom.
You are not alone regarding Leo's social skills. I have a 10lb mix breed shiatsu Maltese Yorkie. He is 5 years old, and he has the same behavior as Leo. It's his personality. I am still hoping for mine to be more sociable. He is so anti-social.. I am still working on his social skills. The vet says it's his personality. Keep working on it..
My Heidi may not obey my commands sometimes but I still love her with all my heart ♥. Something about the vet I didn't like how he was talking to Leo but it's just me😊
Laura, you are truly being a responsible pet owner. I had over twenty cats, some were adopted and others walked in my yard. All of them are spayed and neutered. It is a sacrifice, but we have to take care of them because they are helpless and they need us.
Good nite u need to be more loving towards your pets in dis condition dey need caressing and lots of love I am a pet owner and my pet is our child my heart goes out to all d unfortunate dogs out there seriously so plzz take care of your 2 loving pets god bless
Maybe Leo's behavior changed because he's not allowed to play outside and run , so he has a lot of energy, and he doesn't know what to do with it. Also the tone in which everyone is speaking to him is not nice. Animals are sensitive, you used to baby him, and now, since his sister is around, he gets less attention, so I could be a bit of jealousy as well.
Yeah he gets to go outside, we play a lot, but he likes to sit on the step with me and just look at cars and well bark at people lol, nah trust me the love is still the same, he’s not jealous at all, he actually was really welcoming to her and still is, he was just always like that, but that’s my baby still eh, I love him too bad ❤️
@LauraManoo I know the feeling , I have 4 cats, and I feed about 12 stray cats, and they all have different personalities, but I love them all. Every day is something new, lol.
@@naadia41 yeah girl it’s their personality, I’ll be honest Leo is a Bess child home but from the time he goes out no behavior and Lexi well she does do she mischief home but when going out she’s little miss perfect. So weird
Hey Laura honey its been a while. It's a very responsible thing you did for your babies. It's call being a responsible parent. Hope babies are well now. Always remember that no matter what you do there will always be negative ppl who is so unhappy with their lives that the only way for them to feel good about themselves is to be mean. A word of advice IGNORE don't gave them the satisfaction by replying just past it as if it wasn't there. We live in a society where so much is going on and ppl still have the energy for negative thought. Stay safe and stay bless my love...
Spaying and neutering of pets is very important, apart from preventing unwanted litters it also prevents them from diseases and keeps them from getting into fights during mating. You've done the right thing. Awesome 👌
You guys are doing the right and responsible move. Usually, male dogs are less aggressive when neutered. Wish a lot of pet owners would do the same for the reasons you mentioned. 👍👍
Speedy recovery for Leo and Lexi please sort out Leo's allergies most of the time its chicken i feed my dogs chow made with salmon cause they get allergies eating chicken ...on the other hand most small dogs are aggressive jus try talking to him ❤
Yeah it’s the chicken I believe, he doesn’t get anything with chicken in it, i gave him a Vienna sausage the night before so maybe it was that but his skin is super sensitive
It's a lot of responsibility and commitment when I decided to save help save stray puppies, the emotions take over when important decisions has to be made, I find myself feeling guilty many times
I feel you, I really do, it pains me to see them at the side of the street, it just puts me in a different kinda mood. You are a very kind person to do this, you will be blessed richly. Keep going your good deeds, the answer will come
Hi Laura😊! I completely agree with everything you've said-"spare the rod, spoil the child," right? Haha! How did the surgery go for both Lexi and Leo? How did they feeling now? We have two dogs as well. One of them, Misty, When Misty gets licks, she starts brawling and our neighbors can hear it. Plus she barking for nothing, She doesn't seem to listen at all. Our other dog, Messy, he is quite mischievous too. Both of them are really giving us a hard time, and we’re getting a bit fed up. Most of time my mom does take care of them, feed, bathe and put water for them. I hope you understand. I can see what you mean about Leo being full of testosterone, which makes him pretty aggressive! By the way, I'm not really a fan of coconut water 🌴, even though I know it has its health benefits. I've tried it multiple times, but it's not for me. I do love coconut jelly, though! I prefer drinking regular tap water, for my hydration needs and I also enjoy Viva water. Thanks for taking the time to share this vlog with us-great job👍, Laura!🙂🤗🥰😊
Thanks Neil, what you don’t like coconut water, omg it’s my favorite drink lol. Boy don’t be stressed with the dogs, they will learn eventually, we need to take the time to train them properly. They will listen.
@@LauraManoo Your most welcome, I still does take a chance to force myself to drink coconut water, So happy that's one of your favorite drink coconut water 👍 thanks so much for the advise Laura.. 😊🤗
I'm sure they're both doing well because you're making the right decision for them both .Did the same for my dog she looks like a fat dumpling now but she's healthy and happy. Her healing process was easy and quick.Got the same comments leave her let her have puppies, then what someone take one and I have to see it at the side of the road. All my dogs have been strays.
I know deep down it’s the right thing, there’s so many strays and homeless dogs, I cannot and refuse to contribute to that, I just can’t wait for them to be fully healed so we can be normal again
Yes there are way too many recently had a lot of stray Cats in our area the only thing we can do is feed them because the dogs wouldn't allow them close. You'll both do your best because your fur babies are loved and cared for.Hopefully more people can start being responsible and do the right thing.
@@LauraManoo I had my doubts when it was my turn. I cried when they went it for surgery because it was too real. Just like people prep for surgery🫣 but they happy now
