Leo Fall: Und der Himmel hängt voller Geigen...(Peter Minich, Christine Görner u.a.) 

Two lovely numbers from the operetta "Der liebe Augustine" by Leo Fall (02.02.1873 - 16.09.1925), one of the most successful operetta composers in the early 20th century, who achieved international fame and popularity in his lifetime. It is a pity that so many of his wonderful operettas are rarely performed nowadays, and his works largely forgotten. This video, taken from one of the best operetta films ever made, is posted on the 150th birthday of the great operetta master.
