Nice combo guide! Something cool worth adding is that after most combos that use heat engager as the ender, SS1+2 actually gives the most damage and works on all of them :)
Leo's combos are nowhere near as complicated as they were in T7. With most of these combos, it seems the b,1,1+2 into fo bu (d+1,2 or just d in certain move sets) are used primarily. I personally love using the b,1,4 (jin ji du li) 1,d (fo bu) 1,2 as the base for my combos. It gets you longer carry and slightly more damage, if not equal. And I find that way helps the last parts of combos land better.
On the first combo you can add neutral 4 in after df2 launcher and can still catch them with the F2 and so on to complete combo. I think it takes 68 or 69. CH 71 I think. Can’t remember. I was doing it last night before I watched this vid.
Holy fn shit thank you I've been struggling with this combo for two days wondering why I can't hit this (it worked every once in a while so I assumed I just have to find the timing but this just provided a workaround)
The second combo and some others i can only connect after i sidestep right before the launcher. And i believe the input for B4 (2,4)df is really B4 (1,4)df
Next month still be going hard to get the idea of combos for Nina for me. Doing some challenge of 1 month character so I'll be looking forward her. Also, great combo guides, clean show up with in game notations. Great work my friend.
I'm having trouble getting uf2,1 -> qcf3 whenever i do manage to get it to come out it's not a true combo but when i do it faster I get either df3 or f3. Any tips?
You dont need to delay the last hit of the b1+2 string at 3:32. It'll always hit at low slump because of df1,2. No need to delay BOK1+2 either if you use 3,2,3 like in 3:43. Mash it out and you'll get it every time. There are cases where you carry to the wall without consuming tornado but 3,2,3 might not hit, but f4 KNK3,4 will (if you don't want to do df1,2). If you use the f4 tornado, do a quick forward dash after tornado (close to a full dash, not micro) then do BOK1+2. It helps with the timing and it's hyper consistent (unless off axis)
i might just be doing it wrong but the second df+2 combo feels like it doesn't work against other characters. can land it fairly easily on xiaoyu and alisa but on most other i've tested i haven't landed it once (also the ender is b+4[1,4] but nbd)
Don't use Tekken 6 terms when making a guide for Tekken 8. Many new players, nobody knows what bok or knk is. Use the terms that are in the game. Have to dislike the video because of it, but people gotta learn.
Those terms are in the game and are standardly accepted terms for explaining moves in the tekken community. The fact YOU don't understand them and don't want to is your own problem
@@kanderin8701agree with your point but I'm pretty sure the terms aren't used in game, just in the community. Knk is Jin ji du li, and bok is fo bu. That's what they're called in Leo's moveset now anyways.
