There was something about this version of lionel messi with this haircut i couldnt understand..i think this was his physical and technical prime..he moved like water but also with soo much power and force.
@@midget420apparently his diet was one of the worst out of all footballers. It seems like he was such an extraordinarily gifted player that it didn't even matter which makes his career that much more insane.
@@patcisz3474 the thing what’s most crazy is that we haven’t even seen his full potential. He lost a lot of explosiveness in the 2013 injury and adapted his playstyle. He was unstoppable from 2009-2013 pre injury. He was by far the best after that as well but his dribbling was even more crazy before his injury.
@midget420 yes I remember those days very well Messi was an absolute monster. He would've broken his own 91 goals record if he didn't get those injuries in 2013. Also he did change his playing style but it was also due to Neymar and Suarez arriving which meant that Messi had to share the scoring load.
My message to a certain blind fanbase : How can you guys not see this? I mean how? How can you not love this guy? This is not normal! After all these, this guy never provokes your guy, never claims to be the greatest! How can you not respect this man?
He was so good. He kinda still is, but he's more slow. He used to be the most prolific and perfect player football has ever seeen, and he was that for at least 17 years straight
No, this can't be normal , for sure. I have been and still I am a Ronaldo fan by any means of it but hey this lad is an outrageous football player - his body and soul are naturally connected to the ball, plus his intelligence in unlocking whatever it is locked. It's true that Ronaldo may be the warrior in war but hey this man Leo is the definition of football.
@@DeluxeRyanmate his dribbling didn’t get any better or worse in 11/12 either, he just became more of a forward so he has less dribbles. Anything 10/11 Messi could do, this one could do aswell and vice versa.
I have no doubt who the best player in the world was. I have never seen a player with so much confidence in his balance and speed. He was untouchable this season, absolutely untouchable. You could put three players to mark him and he'd still dribble through, make passes through their legs, or chip the ball over their heads. It was like magic. No player in the world has ever been so complete. The speed, the stamina, the control. He was the perfect footballer.
Pele, Maradona, Cristiano, Ronaldo, none of them can even come close to how this man played. Superhuman abilities. You watch the career highlight of any of those players and Messi's highlights from 1 season make them seem like child's play. The greatest ever if you know anything about football...
11:55 i cant i just cant wth how does he see that howwww!???? 💀💀 I might be acting a little too much but god damn we will nvr see this again nvr ! Messi you the best 🐐
When a player is seriously up for debate to whether they're the greatest to grace the game at just 24, you know the inevitable outcome of that question. By far and away, the best player of all time.
realizing how good this man is just insane. if you saw anyone in the prem or liga do ts now you would say: wtf is he doing, waste of a possession. but with messi it just works😭
Messi at his peak was truly something else. The only other 2 guys who put me at awe were Ronaldinho and Henry at their peak. But messi at his peak was truly superhuman.
it is so annoying that the debate is not over ,look at this guy toying with 1 billion euro real marid like they are piece of shit ,look at box to box run , solo run ,pass, everything just ❤❤❤❤.LIKE IT WAS SAID GOAT
There never was a debate. Just a group of delusional idiots known as CR7 fans. It's true what they say about CR. The biggest accomplishment in his career was to be compared to Messi
He is way more slower now but his dribbling technique is still solid that's the reason why he don't need pace , the dribbling technique itself is goated
He was never really in the top speed category. Where he made defenders look foolish was his sheer acceleration and change of pace. He would maintain a speed that I think defenders believed was his top speed then turn up the juice in a split second. More importantly his speed with the ball at his feet that makes him a menace to defend. But yeah we likely won't really get many more solo runs from midfield, nor should we from a 36 year old but every now and then you still see these glimpses.
@@dougbfreshHis speed with the ball was greater than anyone probably barring Maradona. Other guys could run fast but significantly slower with the ball.
@@dougbfresh Speed with the ball at his feet and with such control that he change direction at full speed? you are crazy if you think someone is even close to Messi. Not even Mbappe is close to Messi in that regards, Mbappe is fast but running in a straight line. He can't change direction, he would fall to the ground.
Only a left-footed player can hit such hooks and perform such movements, see also Arjen Robben. A right-legged man will never be able to do such a thing. Messi is a genius. The best of all time. There will be no one better.
I believe that he complete player ever is Messi 2018/2019 but this one is messi at his most peak physical condition and the scariest machine. This year were Messi and Ronaldo's peak in terms of their physique
@@midget420 I'll partially agree with you on this because his footwork is not insane like Ronaldinho or Neymar. But most importantly,he knows exactly the right timing to shift those balls away from defender legs with high speed and control.
Barcelona failed him , had they been consistent as a club and not made all those foolish signings and actually built a competitive team around him and wouldn't have ended the way it did . look at what he did for Argentina and what they did for him .
@@pkay4405 glad i wasn't tripping, he was lightning quick before 12/13 injury and its not that he got older because he was still only 25, thats still young, it has to be the injury that lost him speed
@@MrHidinhowhich was good because it made him explore other of his abilities which he’s now reaping from in his old age when he can no longer speed or accelerate like before but he can unlock defense with his passing abilities and that’s still makes him crucial for any team
@@veldranecz Maradona was close in terms of dribbling and playmaking but not in terms of striking; Romario was close in terms of striking but not in terms of dribbling and playmaking; R9 was close in terms of dribbling and striking but not in terms of playmaking; Ronaldinho was close in terms of dribbling and playmaking but not in terms of striking; Cristiano Ronaldo was close in terms of striking but not in terms of dribbling and playmaking; Only Pelé and Neymar have been like Messi: good in all attacking aspects, although Neymar was not as good overall and idk who was better between Messi and Pelé.
@@Luis-gz7prI think,as a German fan,,,I prefer Messi,,, because at that time of Pele, there was no VAR system,,, Pele's responsibility was only finishing,,,even , MESSI has most assist than Pele...there was no offside system at that time....and Pele was never a playmaker

Yes it was what are you on about? If you look at number of goals scored with one boot, he scored the most of his career with those beautiful red and blue ones.
Don't preach to me about Football being more than goals and assists. This was unquestionably his best season. He didn't pull as many insane runs in 2015 as he did in this 2011/12. And are you honestly telling me a season which contributed to him scoring 91 goals in a calendar year wasn't his best? You're tripping, mate.
@@Lightningleox11/12 is obviously his peak but he did indeed pull insane runs like this in both the season before 11/12!and in 2015, but yea you’re correct about these people who say football isn’t about goals and assists (it quite literally is).
@@grandispraecantator1778 I used to be big messi fan, I cant take away he is great player, but his political stances his silence on Gaza, and how much of humanitarian CR7 is, def made me like cr7 better.
Dude, you haven't learnt a thing or two yet. Messi played in champions league when all teams where at their best. That's a level beyond premier league. Understand how Messi has changed football and defined it in his way of play!!!
Very true. Just because he can do it against Madrid , Athletico and Sevilla doesnt mean he can do it against the formidable crystal palace. Infact he has failed miserably against the likes of Arsenal, United ,City, Tottenham and Chelsea whenever they have met
Bro. Learn to search for information! The team you mentioned has been beaten by Messi. You have to look for data on goals scored by Messi against Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City,
