its good to see he never got trendy and stayed original

For real this is so OG. Love that he still does small tricks before in a line before a banger and/or has to ollie up curbs first. No slo-mo (although I kinda wish there was because he skates so fucking fast). And the perfectionism to land clean on most tricks is something that is lost on many modern skaters.
The noseblunt slide at the very beginning was one of the most satisfying things I have ever watched. Watching someone control a difficult slide with style for that long is just excellence. You rarely see that in skating now. You normally see people pass up 20 foot of rail or ledge just to slide/grind the last 2-3 feet.
This is so good! Maybe the fastest kick flip front board ever done. Who sees a 4ft gap to 4ft tall ledge, to 4ft gap out and thinks, “that’s a spot.” And then nosegrinds it.
Those were the "Golden Days" of Emerica !! I still remember my teenage years skating everything was so unreal , now it all makes sense I love skating I won't ever give it up even as a busy working dad I still manage to fit in some skating . ✌️🤘 Hahahah 🤘✌️
Have you tried his new shoe? It's apparently a remake of that shoe, I used to skate the shit out of those shoes back in the day but haven't gotten my hands on his new model yet!
Leo bro u killed it .. and u got so much better with style since I was seeing u at donny's house years back when u stood back there.. congrats to u man
I remember renting first love on some sketchy dvd renting site where they sent you it, and I legit watched his part on repeat. That’s awesome he’s still putting stuff out
Wahhh! Great skater, vid part, music and style. This is why thrasher is thrasher. Thank you guys. Excellent combinaison bitwin music tempo and tricks, specially during the nose grind attempts in the end!
Still be the best, have never seen anything like that end shot, gnarlyness level beyond Martinez, visually it belongs on a Greco film, absolute perfection
2003, Emerica - This is Skateboarding. I think that was the first I saw of Leo Romero, and he was an instant favorite along with Braydon Szafranski and Matt Allen in that part. 16 years later, he is still bangin it out. That phatty phatty nosegrind was my favorite, signature Leo going for obscenely tall rails and ledges.
Praise the Leo 🙏🏻 He should go back to that green rail at the beginning and attack it from the top of the stairs!! So good to see him back in hammer mode. Imagine thinking " right.. I'm nollie flipping out in a minute " when your on top of THAT!! Blimey!!
Yo,.that ender right there really is 100% skateboarding, not only the gnarlyness of it, but it's so rewarding visually,.what a shot pure art, this part should've earned him another soty, don't know if Martinez would attempt that
