That just shows how much of an arrogant moron Frank can be. As if covering warzone reportings made anyone a combat and survival expert. Besides with all hell and a zombie stampede going on around him, this idiot can't find another priority than trying to beat Leon? Come on! He wasn't even trying to survive; the only rare time whe he'd actually kill one was when Leon placed them in his face to shield himself from his attacks.
@@DanteAlighieri612Chris is stronger but Leon is faster and if we talk about experience i think it's a tie Leon vs Chris is the classic fight Strenght vs Speed
@@texascultdeity8904 Everything will return to chaos weak little godling and all gods will be put to the Blade the blood and guts of deities will be my throne.
Yeah that is the thing: the optics of this fight were almost entirely out of Leon's favor. He had such a distinct advantage that anything less than an immediate outright victory is going to not be surprising or laughable.
Dude Next time say Spoiler Alert before doing something like mentioning the winner. Some people come to the comments section before finishing the video
Yes, just like Tiger Zord vs. Gundam Epyon and Power Rangers vs. Voltron, Frank may be a deadly combatant, but Leon is a seasoned warrior at heart, and that's what gave him the edge needed to win.
eh no, leon hasnt fought on wars....i didnt watch any of the action movies cause...they are movies, only videogames should count when fighting videogames character vs videogame characters
Alternative Ending: Leon: You’re not supposed be here! Frank: Whoops, sorry! Where should I be then? Leon: Go get as much as you can and evacuate the city. *later* The two are going to where the other survivors are at and become friends. The end.
Anyone noticed how this fight plays out like both a Dead Rising Boss (From Frank’s perspective), and a Resident Evil Boss (from Leon’s) Dead Rising: Leon seemingly appears out of nowhere while Frank is minding his own business and attacks with little warning. Resident Evil: Frank has multiple “forms” that he goes through as the fight progresses, going from fairly normal, to similar to the first but hints at what’s to come later, then later “forms” that run wild with the hinted at element. Hell, Frank’s Final “form” was pretty much stationary AND was finished with a rocket launcher to boot
Doom Guy: I have a high kill count. Kratos: Did you say something? Lobo: You Bastiches got nothing on me. Wolverine: You're all pathetic. Geras: You are all weak.
@@gamerphantombot6589 Doom Guy once took a thousand year vacation in hell, where all he did was murder demons. Though we can't count the exact amount, the amount of demons he must have killed is must be far beyond a few thousand
@@comradeeverclear4063 Basically Chris wants Leon to sleep with Claire to create the ultimate monster slaying child. But Leon loves Blue Ball Queen Ada too much.
Honestly, I knew Leon had this one in the bag, being a nearly superhuman soldier who’s fought much greater threats. But I REALLY wanted Frank to win because of his *sheer chaotic creative energy.*
@@lcrockz9361 it's purely subjective since they both have different personalities, it's hard to compare the two since both of them is in different categories, if we're talking being a comedic badass it's Frank, if it's Cool and serious it's Leon.
if that's the case sire, I guess any videogame character can stay awake for any period of time no matter what the circumstances.... just turn the game on in a safe area and walk away, leaving it on for a few days; bam, suddenly it's canon that they can stay awake for days because it's possible to pretend they can.
PaladinGear15 - You are ignoring the fact that, unlike most video games, Dead Rising takes place under a strict time limit that determines how long events take and that saving the game does not advance time forward like it should if taking a nap is what Frank does when saving. Your counter-point is moot.
Or.... You know.... They could've been friends and become the most unstoppable zombie killing force in the history of ever. But yeah a death battle is cool too.
Coming back to this one after a few years is honestly so much fun. It's cemented as one of my favorite fights in DB history. Music, acting, and choreography are insanely good. The matchup itself is close to even and overall one of the best we've seen.
You forgot about the time he held onto an agent and her gigantic infected brother with one arm and lined up a perfect shot with the other one. I’d say he’s at least as strong as Chris.
No, Chris moved a bolder by himself. Leon couldn’t, Chris is physically stronger and even kept pace with Wesker in RE5 during their fight in melee combat.
@@PrideBornAmadi Leon fought a giant with his knife by himself. Leon Kicked a T- Virus monster who tanked bullets like nothing and was strong enough to destroys tanks and helicopters with one punch and leons kick damaged him. He holded with one arm a woman and also t- virus Monster, and his strikes are strong enough to explode normal zombies their head off. He fought alone against giants monster while chris Had a team and what did chris punches a boulder? Wow. + He did hold the jaw from a virus Giant fish
@@rikistankovi9112 Resident Evil has no consistency to Leon's and Chris physical capabilities, but it's clear that Chris is in fact physically stronger. That's why I prefered RE 7 over 4, because I actually got the feeling that I am too weak to push my way through the infected.
Weight Overload frank doesn’t get their skills or abilities, he just simply copies some of their moves. Ryu frank and Dante frank will still not be enough to handle Leon in cqc.
IyesE if you pair the Chris Jill team with Leon. Yeah you can. They have some unique conversations and a joke about the three of them teaming up with Claire
Just saying if these two were to meet. Leon would see the potienal with Frank's his ingenuity, adaptability, and prowess. Get him recruited as a weapon designer and or partner after some training, Frank could report all thier adventures and world saving events, while Leon could probably get a Friend for the first time in years. Plus, it would be epic seeing Frank revert from Zombie to human. Leon, possible gaining some PTSD and regret. Once he realized he could find a cure. Overall this crossover has a ton of potential, and I wouldn't mind seeing a new game outta this.
Imagine a side-by-side game. It would be weird, because Leon would be just so much more powerful, but with the creativity and some time to make it (not one year like DR4) it would be a fun adventure.
Not going to lie. It would have been a much cooler death battle if they put aside their differences for the zombies, and had a temporary truce. Seeing them tag team the massive horde, and perhaps even some Zombie titans would have been kick ass. But good fight for what it was.
Half way through the fight I actually paused the video and was like "You'd think at this point one of them would say "Wait wait, why are we fighting *each other* right now?""
i agree since imo this was not a fair fight. Leons strength alone would end the fight so yeah, throw some Tyrant BOW's in the mix and an entire horde and they agree this is no time to be fighting.
Think back to everyone Frank ever fought across dead rising. Not one has ever once said that, nor has he ever backed down. Not the owner of that jeep full of prisoners, not Chuck Greene, not even that drama teacher in the scarecrow outfit that could teleport. Why would that change now?
Those are all antagonists though. Both fighters were protagonists in their own story. Not to mention that Leon is a Government Agent, where as Frank is a very skilled bum, its harsh, but true.
I know Boomstick is an adult *fictional* male, but everytime I hear him degrade himself or make jokes about his father, I just wanna buy the guy a beer, give him a hug and say it'll be alright. It's what I needed to hear during those times for myself.
Think of it as something like a Psychopath encounter. Big misunderstanding that could be easily avoided but it quickly becomes a fight to the death anyway.
I still prefer Frank West over Leon Kennedy. Frank West is more badass, Leon is a trained agent, Frank is just a journalist with zero training whatsoever and still a zombie slayer.
True. And death battle is underestimating frank. He legit fought zombies that turned in a few seconds, and they were powerful. Plus frank has an exo suit that can ko Leon in a second
shaquille. oatmeal that tiny exo suit is nothing compared to a tyrant in terms of strength and durability. Dealing with one shot power enemies is literally all Leon does for a living
So you’re just gonna act like the super zombies let alone the Zombie Super Soldier. Let’s be honest, there’s NOTHING Leon dealt with in the games that Frank couldn’t honestly handle. Leon’s only saving grace really we’re his guns and Frank knows how to use said guns AND combine them into something stronger. Plus in terms of Leon’s gymnastic feats, Frank had to be trained to handle the wars he covered. For all we know, Frank probably did fight for survival just in case he needed to escape. It would explain how he’s able to go toe-to-toe with soldiers throughout the games. Plus don’t act like Frank didn’t know how to make drinks that would give him buffs to his physical abilities. And all this on top of the fact that he’s a trained wrestler. Plus, Frank learns from the psychos he’s fought. That’s how he gains battle experience and learns weapon combos. Some psychos include the very people Leon would be. This fight was a lie, plain and simple…
@@BladeCrossEXE Sorry, but no, even having to go for the head it's not a problem, Frank has a lot of experience chopping zombies to pieces and can easily headshot zombies. Same goes for Leon, although excluding the first part.
Just Passingby Leon didn't lose his fight against Svetlana, they both kept up with each other, throwing hands and dodging and blocking each other's moves.
Leon technically fought alone in the field on several accounts, but he always had friends and allies or worked for a greater power that could potentially give him support be it the police department or some para military organization. In Frank's case, zombies, random civilians and the freaking military are all trying to kill him. And aside from the odd handgun or Wallmart quality hunting shotgun he can find lying around, he's completely unarmed.
jekblom123 yeah Leon faced mutated genetic creatures while Frank faced crazy superhumans and zombie hordes. While I admire Frank being creative. Leon has more lethal weapons
yyyeeehhh… Leon would win in this fight I have to say... While Frank's arsenal is particularly useful against zombies and mutants and generally dumb and slow moving monsters, Leon came specifically equipped for virtually any threat imaginable.

@@alexbaribeault The only thing about her is her chainsaw and gun chainsaw, her... emm, magic? When you enter that crazy mode where you shine in colors while moving and killing faster and she can actually have a strong zombie to fight for her if he uses Nick's head Also, the Nick cannon
think it would be weird to give him the win just because of that, it's never been said that they give him the feats of those characters, if they didi though leon would die immeadietly
Jethilius Avalar An exceptionally tough dude, to be fair, but then, Leon has killed plenty of resourceful, powerful men on his own, hasn't he? *Cough cough* Krauser
enderjav99 I haven't played their games but I watched game grumps' dead rising series and I knew Leon was a badass so I knew the outcome was obvious and justified
GardenHoseblanka1 yes, he's a dude who's covered wars, you know. In all seriousness, yes he survived 72 hours in a zombie infested mall, yes he fell about 15 feet from a helicopter, yes he's creative and is a natural a firearms, but it's like pitting Hawkeye against Capitan America; superhuman vs. guy with some fancy toys
I'd enjoy this as a crossover if Capcom wanted, seeing Frank surprised by the abominations the Resident Evil cast must deal with aside from just zombies... Also fun fact; one of the characters Frank can cosplay as is Jill Valentine, Chris's main partner from Resident Evil.
As much as I love Frank, he wasn't going to win this. But good show old man. I wanna see the paperwork that Leon has to file for this though. _"So you fired a rocket launcher... at a looter?"_
My only problem with this fight is how they counted Frank's capcom transformations but didn't count things like Leon's Infinite rocket launcher or Chicago typewriter and other postgame weapons
Since they didn't cover it, I'll try to explain a thermobaric explosive best I can: See, most rockets are 75% fuel, 25% explosive and use an oxidizer with a shorter explosion. TB on the other hand is 100% explosive and uses the surrounding oxygen in an area as the catalyst for the explosion. The explosion is twofold. First is a massive pressure wave. Second is the ensuing vacuum effect as oxygen rushes to fill in the void left over from the blast. It's larger and lasts much longer than other forms of explosive and is absolutely devastating against human targets. The argument, "The exosuit has tanked RPGs," doesn't hold up to this. Frank's exposed head alone would leave no doubt that one of 3 things could have occurred if not all at once. The temperature of the explosion alone would have slagged the suit, the pressure wave could have crushed his skull or maybe decapitated him or the vacuum effect could have shredded his lungs. Either way, the second Leon fired the rocket, it was lights out.
If these two were to meet in a game I think they would make a good team combining Frank's skill at making stuff and creativity with Leon's strength and combat skill
yepez associates hell yes, Wick vs Bonde would be amazing. I'd be a bit concerned on the research front though. Bonde has decades of movies whereas Wick has two films to his name unless Wick is based off of a novel series that I'm unaware of. Regardless, it would be a much closer and much more exciting DB than Wick and Agent.
Tane Sorby yes, I agree Agent would beat them both easy. I'd imagine even two on one Agent could handle them with a bit of elbow grease and that is the exact reason it wouldn't be a good death battle. Nobody wants another Flash vs Quicksilver scenario and that is exactly what Agent vs Wick/Bond would be. I never said Agent and Wick didn't make sense, thats just you putting words in my mouth, I said it was one sided. Please read comments before you reply to them.
It's like your out of shape Dad vs. Captain America, and when you think about it in those terms. Frank did extraordinarily well for himself, he had no hope of winning, but he held his own pretty well.
I think if leon was chosen then they would have been either equals or frank would have won because he would have leons qualities in addition to his own
I'm fairly certain the idea of having Zombies show up to be part of the fight was one of Boomstick's suggestions. "Okay... so... what if while they are fighting, they also have to deal with a bunch of zombies as well?"
Well to be fair these guys are from survival horror games. And to make it more of a fair fight let them have access to the environment both guys are used to. A city full of zombies and locations to acquire their resources.
