Highly under rated. Something tells me he didn't care - he was 100% cool/pure - something the industry doesn't honor. We do though and i am sure his life was well lived.
Now that my friend, Is some of the greatest music still today no one can even come close , I am a drummer also a sax man I have vintage tenor and Pro Baritone saxes ,Thanks for the good times.....
Leon's instrument was not just a piano or even the whole band. It was the song, the arrangement the style....whether he was playing bass or leading a 20 piece extravaganza in front of thousands, he was the "Master of Space and Time".

I love this venue! All the people involved all the extra people in the room it really adds a nice flavor. And I love Leon when he gets rowdy! The rowdier the better! What good music for the heart. RIP.

renditions of Dylan's songs more often than not, were better sounding than Bob's, although credit to him for originating them.....this one is another perfect example of that as the Master of Time and Space gives it a unique spin.
