Quite eerie performance to say the least. - Cohen acts completely like a chairman of a secret weird lodge with the ladies as 'deputies' - Cohen shows '9/11' at 3:01 (the 11 with the arms and the 9 is on the watch) - They bring here the version with the 'announcement' (starting at 2:23) - The video even features a 'one-eye' (3:48) - and some other signalling (for example at the end the way Cohen folds the paper is reminding of a chairman after an important decision) Additionally, the Jennifer Warnes version 'predicted' the La Belle attack (German newsspeaker at the beginning) if the first release date January 1986 of this version is correct.
Interesting that they subtitled these back then, I can't remember seeing that as a kid. The translation is a bit questionable in some places though. And why put "beauty" in quotation marks? It's like the transistor wanted to distance himself from the content lol.
