The depth of this song, caused me to remember things in my own life, I thought were buried, and forgotten. You understood the human condition quite well. I believe there will probably never be somebody like you again, and you were probably the last of your time R.I.P. Leonard Cohen.

This album is timeless. Simple, stripped bare, quiet, rich, warm, kind. Anyone can listen to it, no matter the age. It’s a beautiful little masterpiece that will never cease to leave me with my eyes shut smiling playing the lyrics in my head again and again. Thank you Adam Cohen, without you we would have never had the chance to hear this.

Cohen's songs have the impression that they are really well-thought before they were written. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is set on paper merely for the sake of accomplishing something. No poetical ramblings. Sometimes it makes us wonder if he is on the same plane with Dylan. The Master lives.

Art in the history of human race can be described as a search of something or someone who is out there. Maybe God. It is an attempt by the humans to find an answer to the question about the meaning of existence. Cohen answers that question perfectly. He is a true artist.

If the song was not sublime, then with this video it is transcendental. He touches on such serious subjects with such a light but firm touch. The images capture this. I have returned here many times. I see it and hear it in my daily life. This is art at its best.
