I haven't seen or heard of Leonard Maltin since the behind-the-scenes specials such as "Walt Disney's Bambi: The Magic Behind the Masterpiece", "The Story Behind Fun and Fancy Free", "The Making of Sleeping Beauty", "The Jungle Book: The Making of a Musical Masterpiece", and "You Can Fly: The Making of Peter Pan"! ☺

Fantastic guy! I remember when he hosted a Disney DVD documentary called A Diamond in the Rough: The Making of Aladdin for Aladdin’s 2004 Platinum Edition DVD. I still have a copy of that to this day in addition to a couple of Walt Disney Treasures sets, my favorite of which is the Complete Goofy.

Oh wow. More people who remember "Calvin and the Colonel". As a tuba player, I always practiced that one part of the opening as a warm up. Got a big surprise when good color episodes started popping up on RU-vid.

"Of Mice And Magic", the book L. Maltin wrote in 1980/1988, is still the definitive Bible of classic animation. I first read it when I was 10, and I haven't found anything better. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

I can remember this mans great work. He actually gave me inspiration to learn about be loving my film collection. From classic to now I still love how he was a person that carried what I like to call movielogy which is not a word but I made 6 years ago, and I still do it everyday love you guys keep going
